  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

How many have read through the Bible?

I've read the whole Bible. I read all the New Testament first and years later after I was baptized I recently finished the Old Testament. The only reason why I was having trouble with the Old Testament is due to the geneology, Jashu begotten Hasha, lol. Also I read all the psalms out loud and I felt a spirit touching my neck when I was done reading all the psalms, I don't know if it was the enemy or not but I felt a hot hand in the back of my neck alone with feeling the holy spirit on several occasions. I don't have the gift of discernment to know what was taking place. I'm going to continue to read all the psalms out loud again when I have the time because they are powerful, especially psalm 119. My favorite books in the Bible are many, but I enjoy the book of revelations although it is difficult to understand the symbols, I also enjoy the book of psalms, and proverbs. Now recently the book that I can relate to when I was done reading the whole Bible is Ecclesiastes "Everything is meaningless", lol except God. I wonder if anyone experience anything spiritual during their Bible reading and during what book?

that's quite an unusual thing going on there i thought.

I don't get any 'spiritual' things going on when i read my bible apart from being moved more about God's awesome ways.
I'm still trying to figure out what happened although I don't dwell on it. Who knows it could have been my imagination, but I felt something moving on my neck and it was hot. That is why I wonder if anyone else experience anything similar. I prayed when I realized what was happening eventually it went away, but it was weird. I know it was due to the fact I was reading the whole book of psalms out loud. I was also in the process of finishing the whole Bible. Maybe the enemy was trying to attack me maybe not. I also experience this when I was praying at one time, but again it could have been my imagination. I don't experience this often although I tend to sometimes feel static electricity on me mostly my legs which I believe is the holy spirit. I had other experiences, but I know that God is protecting and allowed me to experience this.
