• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. oh TN, iknow what you mean... i feel so terrible when i tell my ounselor i've cut... cos it feels like im a disappointment. but you know what? God isn't disappointed. he's right there next to you and he's saying that he ain't never gonna leave! no matter what

you all are doing so great, even when it doesn't feel like it --> because you wanna stop. you inspire me.

In 6 days it will be three years since the last time i SIed.

Last night was one of the most amazing things, i was struggling alot the past couple of day and i didnt see way out without cutting or burning myself. i went to get a knife out of my tool box and my tool box was gone. A friend of mine needed some tools are figured i wouldnt care. So i go to find a cigarette and my lighter, i found my lighter but there was a crack in it so it was out of lighter fluid. By this point i was starting to calm down and think more clearly. Last but not least a friend who i had not spoken to in a while called just to talk. I thank God for each of these things and because of them i can remain SI free.

DAY 100!!! I'm actually not really celebrating it at all My friend and I are going to the mall tonight, so I might buy myself something special, but I'm not sure. But I will enjoy myself.
