I don't know about the whole literate world or if we should think it's only Christian literature that might be targeted, but it's coming.
The totalitarians have thrown off the restraints that previously protected our freedoms, but since nothing much happened to them when they took the first steps in that direction, the likelihood is that they will not be hesitant to take the next steps.
I stumbled, as I frequently do, upon a House bill that may affect Christians. Very much depends on how the powers that be interpret the final product.
H.R.5 - 117th Congress (2021-2022): Equality Act
Yeah that's been a concerning act for awhile
it really is going to be LGBT that sparks widespread discrimination against Christians.
LGBT is the "Calling evil good and good evil" moment.
And the Equality Act is the government's official endorsement of "Calling evil good and good evil".
I do not see this as quite similar to my thread as you mentioned, but mkay, I can reply. The demand for bookburning has long been pushed for. And you do have new socalled hatecrimelaws, that burns books before they are printed, illegal to publish. You cannot write your christian view on homosexuality with your own words anymore, your editor will have to modify it to avoid lawsuits, so you cannot word it as you intended. And how about printinghouses stops printing some classics? Wasn't there something about Mark Twain being racist? Think there was something about dr Zeus also. What can you say whenthe classics are erased. Bookburning in progress, and the push only gets stronger. Meanwhile, I observe and wonder when peoplewill fight back and the resistence win. Good luckI'm not sure this is even the right place for this topic, but it is an end time event I do think.
With the new reset establishing a more coordinated effort internationally, and the obvious animosity towards Christianity because, as always, the Evil One manipulates the unconverted to continual violence, hatred and recently much madness within a segment of society:
How long before the demand for the amassing of all Christian literature, especially all known copies of the Bible for community book burnings throughout the literate world?
Here is a brief history of book burnings:A Brief History of Book Burning, From the Printing Press to Internet Archives | History | Smithsonian Magazine
It's all down hill from here. The politicians elected reflect the majority of voters, assuming the election isn't rigged.
The main point of Fahrenheit 451 was that people will choose bland entertainment over deep thinking, and therefore they become easy to manipulate.
I see it is a very prophetic book in that way.
True. The writer of Fahrenheit 451 did say that his book was not mainly about censorship. It goes deeper than that.Just as 1984 turned out to be:

Personally I think many have forgotten what it was that made America great. They want security over everything else. Freedom no longer matters to them. And that's why they cannot even understand what we are complaining about.
Honorable mention: Walter M. Miller, Jr. A Canticle for Leibowitz A Monk in the distant future comes upon ruins, but it is taboo to explore them because what can be found inside is what caused the conditions they presently find themselves in. The story spans centuries.
A book burning is a prelude to violence. At the time of the book burning, the people being attacked by the burning have already been classified as other, less than human, and the next step is destruction. I firmly believe if Christians witness an event like this, severe persecution, meaning bloodletting, is very near.
A book burning these days would be more of a quiet "digital' burning. Books, articles, Christian sites, blogs, etc. being deleted and people being deplatformed is what a book burning looks like today. Physical books aren't as big of a thing as they used to be. But internet access to biblical information, communication with others, and even Christian music or sermons can be limited or just deleted worldwide with a few keystrokes, and that would be equal to a forest-sized bonfire of books being burned. However, it wouldn't be as dramatic-looking as an actual physical burning.
