  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The only reason why I can say this right here is because I own my own TV and computer (it is custom made) so I can leave messages, bbbbbbbbbbbbbbuuuuuuuuuuuttttttttttttt I have no idea how to use a blank DVD to record TV shows with, and I was hoping that someone could show or tell me how to do that.

You need the right connection cable to hook up computer to tv & the right software. I think windows media center does record but I never used it. I used to have the cable hooked up to my laptop to watch & use Realplayer to record what I was watching.
There are a number of ways to go about it.
If you want it on dvd, however, you also have to have dvd burning software. The best software is not free. I just recorded to my HD. There are different codecs for music & video, it could be a headache. Do you want to use the dvd as a storage to watch again on your computer or to watch on a dvd player. The process to burn a dvd playable movie is long & involved.
