of course the urge is to translate it was - because to translate it otherwise is to upset the applecart and challenge what has been assumed for a very long time. But if you translate it became - you end a great deal of misunderstanding and conflict with science and with other passages of scripture. God is never in conflict with Himself - his creation - his word - nor is there conflict within scripture. Rather than twisting and torturing what is written take it for what it is - Genesis is a linear history.

Yeah, sometimes, and then sometimes mutations are neutral. Cancers are nasty ones that end life, but there are also lots and lots of single nucleotide polymorphisms that have been in your DNA since you were conceived, and they aren't doing you a lick of harm. I agree that they don't spawn new life, though.

Well here is my understanding of it. I may not be right, and i will gladly stand to be corrected.

As I recall in the old testament there is an instance where the people where building a huge tower. And they wanted to build one that would reach God, And they let their pride get the best of them, so God scattered them across the world, and gave them all different languages. And So I assume that thats how all the different races and stuff began.

Not sure if anyone has answered this..but the simple answer is that when isolated groups of humans started forming over time, they began to have a certain concentration of certain looks, based on genetics. Through mutations and time, along with isolation, these people start to look different than your average human, and they continue to pass on these looks.

It is my belief that Yahweh created different races BEFORE He ever created Adam, (from His own image). The Adamic race are truly created in Yahweh's own image, they are the Israelites of Yahweh Elohim. Yahweh doesn NOT make mistakes. Everything He does is for a reason. Do people think that He did not know that Lucifer would fall from the Angels? It was Yahweh's plan. HE is the one in control of everything. The bible clearly states that male and female were created BEFORE Adam (in the book of Genesis). He then LATER created Adam from HIS own image , therefore creating a WHOLE new race. The linage explained in the bible is from the ADAMIC race and no other. Yahweh then removed a rib (possibly the uterus of Adam as he contained both male and female repoductive organs) and place it into Eve to create a woman (which was taken FROM Adam). They produced a child, Abel and at the same time she also concieved Cain(*from Satan when she had sex with him in the garden). Eve bore twin boys (Cain-from Satan and Abel-from Adam). When Cain killed his brother he was cursed and when he left the garden of Eden then married another of a different race which had already been created by Yahweh PRIOR to creating HIS OWN race with Adam.


THE ABOVE IS MY BELIEF WHICH I HAVE UNDERSTOOD BY READING THE KJV OF THE HOLY BIBLE

Assuming that all that's true, it still wouldn't have an effect on the races we have today. Everybody on earth is descended from Noah, who was descended from Adam, so we're all part of the Adamic race.

I do not belive that the flood of Noah's day was a global flood.

The Biblical account seems pretty clear to me...
Genesis 7:21-23: "And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark."
