How can we scientifically test the supernatural?

access to cosmic and inter-dimensional energy is asinine for the entirety of humanity.

You mean Muggles?

Of course there would be orders of select people who would keep this secret safe from the majority of the world.

What is this wizarding world you speak of?

Hogwartz. You're talking about Hogwartz aren't you?

I started this thread because a number of posters in this forum have objected to the fact that science doesn't consider the supernatural. Thus, I am curious if anyone can offer a way to scientifically test the supernatural.

If you are really interested in the question you posed, you probably should do as I suggested, and begin at the Eastern-most Western nation, and research/(re)visit the history, lore and customs.

Science is simply "knowledge," and science is a process by which one can attain and verify (with an acceptable degree of credibility) what one is seeking to know. The key point that leads to sophistry is what is acceptable, and possible in nature is the subjectivity of credibility; that differs individually. Part of that scientific sophistry has been sophomorically exhaled as academia - and has built a paradigm of personalized axioms for intellectual sale.

I've said this some 20 times here: 71

Why would uprooting a plant and seeing the effect of its growth be an indication of whether God is intervening?
Because the title of the thread includes the idea of supernatural. You'd have to observe some behavior that A, can be replicated and B isn't natural but can repeatedly be tested with scientific methods. Things like osmosis and photosynthesis are basically understood. You'd need a different experiment that would need access to supernatural events.

Scientists took an interest in Medjugorje when several children were repeatedly having visions of their Lady in the 80's.

That seems like a nonsensical response. I'm sure to you it's probably something profound, but it seems to have nothing to do with my question in the OP.

Whenever anyone says something like this:

... you can almost bet I'm going to reply ...

2 Kings 6:17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

I'll take it your answer is "no", science cannot test the supernatural.
That is correct.

Science cannot ... in my opinion ... test the supernatural.

Why don't you pray for something similar, something that pretty much won't happen except by divine intervention.

Pray that Mount Everest moves to the Australian outback. Or, if that's too difficult, pray that there's a garden gnome on my pillow when I go to bed tonight. If your God can do that, I'll convert immediately.

I have the following hypothesis: God's intervention is actively required for healthy plant growth.

Can anyone describe a method by which this hypothesis could be tested scientifically?

Remove God's intervention and see if the plants die.

Sure.

I'll pray for your salvation.
