I guess I don't get the problem. You make friends or are attracted to someone and eventually you date and eventually you decide you want to date that person the rest of your life. Friendship is a good place to start. If it doesn't end in marriage all the better you've acquired another friend. Take your time, go out to parties,etc. Have fun. You will know when it is the right one.
