  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

We all have a 100% chance of death...

I strongly agree with the others- check with multiple other doctors. I seriously can't imagine a situation where that would be true. I have a good friend who has a seriuos heart condition as well as Lupus-- and has 7 kids. It takes good prenatal care and diligent monitoring of her pregnancy and birth- but it is certainly not an impossibility.

If I was 100% confident that pregnancy would put me at great danger, I would consider a tubal.

But it would take a lot to make me 100% sure.

Adoption is a noble and beautiful thing and well worth considering.

I pray you will find relief from the bitterness.

Definately consult more doctors!

Adoption is a wonderful thing! One of my cousins was adopted from Tawian while his parents were stationed there with the military. One of my DH's cousins was also adopted. I can't imagine our family without either one of them!
