Can't say I blame her. The media seems to be in the tank for He Who Must Not Be Named. They are doing their best to keep it close so the clickers keep clicking, the viewers keep viewing, and the $$$$ keep rolling in.

A press conference is done so the media can ask questions and get answers. They have no questions for her. They already know to defend her no matter what. Besides, when she does one of her speeches, the media is there for her anyway, so it's as if she's in a press conference all the time already.

I would think the media is in the tank for hrc since they really are talking minimally about the lack of press conferences but still give her plenty of coverage. If they really wanted press conferences you would think they would reduce their coverage of her to pressure her to open up. Even the DNC is not pushing her.....are they hiding something?

I remember back in '96 when one of the main criticisms of Bob Dole, who was running against Bill Clinton at the time, was that he was too old and unhealthy. He was 73 then, while Bill Clinton was 50. Hillary is now 68, and Trump is 70. I guess they can't use age as a weapon now, being that both are about the same, but they sure did it when it was against a Republican at that time.

Then the media would have to invent stuff whole cloth. Except for FOX News, most of the mainstream media seems to try not to do that.

Sorry, I've seen this so many times, seen it explained so many times, yet a whole group of people don't seem to understand the difference between facts and a conspiracy theory. Reasonable and patient explanations have failed, so I'm hoping a demonstration of the reasoning required will help them understand.

There are conspiracies in the world though, people conspire things, especially when they have power.
Yes i'm aware many like to blow things out of proportion for their own agendas and make wild claims, and obviously when your a presidential candidate you prefer to hide things that may disadvantage you.
None the less, she has had a concussion, has a blood cloth in her head apparently, had a strange wound on her tongue, reoccurring nasty coughing, has behaved abnormal, "short circuited" as she called it, and hasn't held a press conference for 264 days.

None the even less, i can understand your reaction.

There was a story that was highly critical of her release of a letter from her personal physician. A lot of that criticism revolved around the treatment she was receiving for hypothyroidism; that it was like 1960's style medicine. It was about Armour Thyroid medication....I can't seem to locate the story......

According to her doctor, she is fine. I'm going with the actual Doctor of Medicine over "Doktoor Rudy" doctor of spin.

So, is she just avoiding a press conference because of her health or are there other important questions she does not want to answer? PC's have traditionally be one of the best ways for a candidate to get their message out since people tend to watch them and they get continually repeated and disected for several days after......So, why is she hiding (for lack of a better word) from the press? She has had them roped off and formed human walls to keep them away; you would think they would be tired of her antics by now.....

The MSM is getting "faxed" (she is adverse to email now for some reason) in talking points from the Clinton campaign. They don't need to interview her or get a 'presser' from her when they get their marching orders direct.
