I met my boyfriend of almost two years when I was 13 and in the 8th grade in Drama Club. He was 17 and a Junior in high school. (Our school is a Jr. High and High School together) We were good friends. During that time, I developed a crush on him and admitted I liked him. We started going out when I finished my freshman year at 15 and when he graduated at 18. Now I'm about to turn 17 and he's going on 21. Some family members say we'll end up married (Which is what we both want to do) yet others brush him off a mere high school boyfriend and say I'll date many more men. As for us, we love each other dearly, we hope to be married one day after college, and we're pretty realistic about our relationship. Do high school relationships work out? What is your personal experience with them? Are you a successful high school couple? Do you know any one who is? I'm just wondering what your stand on this is.
