HONOLULU - Fire destroyed the rented home of "Lost" star Evangeline Lilly in coastal Kailua on Oahu island Wednesday, officials said. Lilly was not at home, and no one was injured.
Two roommates were also not home when the fire broke out sometime after 6:30 a.m., authorities said. Investigators were searching for a cause.
"Unfortunately, it is true that the home she rented in Hawaii did burn down this morning," Lilly's publicist Cara Tripicchio said in an e-mail. "Evangeline was on set already when the fire occurred and luckily, her roommates were not in the house either.
The home was "fully involved" in flames when firefighters arrived, said Capt. Kenison Tejada, spokesman for the Honolulu Fire Department.
"We stopped the fire from spreading," he said. "It took us maybe 15 to 20 minutes to knock down the main body of fire."
Only the roof and a couple of interior walls were left standing, and most of the home's contents were destroyed, he said.
Lilly plays Kate on the hit ABC drama, which films in Hawaii.

Fatburger and I were just talking about this yesterday- it's not going by nearly quick enough. I really hope next year they just start in January so we don't have this horrible long wait thing....

I agree, it's way too long to wait. In the last podcast even Damon and Carlton seemed to agree. I hope next year is different.

One additional piece of casting news for y'all (hey, nothing wrong with the south! )...

Ana Lucia will be back in a flashback. She was on set a week or so ago taping.

I hope I don't get in to trouble here, but when I checked this thread at home, on dial up, SotFB's, Snootch's and Dora's CF Characters loaded very slowly and sexily.

So, I really wanted to rewatch the Season 2 finale and ordered the 6th disk of Lost from Netflix. My main focus was on those parts in the first hour I missed because I was at work and the second hour because I set my VCR wrong. As I watched the penultimate minutes I noticed something that has seemed to escape comment here though I'm sure it's elsewhere on the Net.

On the DVD, at episode "Live Together, Die Alone" at time 1:22:37, Alex reaches down to lift up Kate and totaly grabs her boobs. She seems to reflexively let go and reach under her arms and I watched the included footage to see if it led to a crackup several times but they seem to have just ran with the scene. I watched the season 2 disk 7 which included outtakes, but didn't see anything close to it.

Am I the only one who caught this, or am I just a perv?

...and that's why I haven't even read the article in my new TV Guide. I want Season 3 to roll forward with nothing but surprise and jaw dropping.
