  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey there guys, I just joined this forum a little while ago, just thought I'd introduce myself to you guys. I heard about this forum like a year ago and never joined it, just went to it to find bible verses. My friend on the internet joined the forum and I thought I would join it too Umm..anyways about myself:

My name is Randy, and I live in Kentucky. I go to Eastside Baptist Church and am in a youth ministry called "Kids of Faith." We present the Word through puppets and through stick routines, plus small short skits. I have been going to this church for about 2 years now, and my faith has been ever strong! My favorite things to do is skateboard, hang out with my girlfriend and friends. I also like Christian music. Some of my favorite Christian bands are: Switchfoot, Toby Mac, MxPx, Hawk Nelson, Kutless, Mercy Me, Supertones, and a lot more

Im also about to start up a website and am quickly working to get it up. It's going to be called Christian Outreach,which I think will be very sucessfull. I have been praying for it and have my friends praying for it, along with the people helping me make the website. The only way it's going to be sucessfull is through God, because his will, WILL be carried out! Anyways, thats a little bit about me Cya!

Welcome Baptism! Yes, ministry/outreach can be all SORTS of wonderful things! The Holy Spirit is using all sorts of wonderful ways to touch peoples lives! I think the puppet ministry is terrific and my own son shows a great talent in this area. I think that is great! I'm really glad you have joined CF! May the Lord indeed bless the work of your hands!
