  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Not sure if anyone else has heard, but they're bringing Hell's Kitchen back. Starts June 12th on Fox at 9 PM EST.

I, for one, am excited for this new season!

I don't really care much for reality TV but I have to admit that even though I only watched a handful of the last few episodes of Hell's Kitchen last season this was actually fun to watch. It proably helps that Mr. Ramsey reminds me A LOT of the vitriolic character of Chef Blackstock from the BBC series Chef!

FYI: BBC America has already started airing the new season of Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares. Great fun that.

Pretty heavy stuff last night. Illness and injury took center stage. Some of these contestants are a piece of work. Personally, I kinda have a thing for Ramsay..... Although I was a a bit shocked when I read his bio on fox.com that said he was 38. I think he looks well over 40. Must be all that yelllin and cussin!

I watched the 2 hour opening of the show last night and its gonna be an interesting season. Its just the first night and although she got burned, so far Heathr IMO has showed the most potential. Of the guys, I forget his name but the one that Chef had taking the orders, something about him I think he will do good. Aint sure about the former stockbroker - sweating into the food..... disgusting. and he knew he sweats bad and it didnt seem to bother him about dripping into someone else's dinner.

am lookingfoward to next week's episode.

My boyfriend and I watched the premiere Monday night and liked it. So far the pizza guy, Giacomo, is my favorite. I also felt sorry for the two people who got sick and injured. That is never good. Looking forward to next week's episode (and spending time with my boyfriend!)

The guys are falling apart! Whatever happened to true manhood? These guys are competing like ninnys. I think Gordo is going to mix things up next week to get it moving with the men. I'm looking forward to seeing children as the restaurant guests.

I think Heather is more onthe ball and has mroe leafership abilities/potential than the others, to include Virginia. I can see Virginia folding under pressure and Heather steping up to get it done.

Had hopes for Keith but his attitude and what I took as more stand offish than cooperative manners was his downfall. He, I think, will make a great cook in a restaurant but not in a leadership capacity as the main chef.

Hooray for Heather! I'm so glad she won over Virginia who really lacked character. Heather was a hard worker and fighter from day one. She may not have the "palate" that Virginia does, but I think she can better run a restaurant.

One thing: Am I getting the drift? Are Heather and Rachel a couple now? It seems the show was trying to portray them as a lesbian couple.

My boyfriend and I were very excited that Heather won! We both had a feeling she would get it, she deserves it!

As for her and Rachel, I think they are best friends, nothing more. I knew Rachel was going to be on Heather's team the final night.
