  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey, all. I didn't even realize this forum was here. Glad to have found this. Simply put, my info is as follows:

My name is Rodney. My wife, Kim, and I have been married for 13 years. We have a 4 year old son, Josiah. We are both graduates of Brownsville Revival School of Ministry in Pensacola, FL (Dec 1999). We have served as associates (youth, music, Sunday School, administration, etc) and Lead Pastors. We currently serve in Western Illinois as Lead Pastors. We continue to realize the grace and mercy of God on a daily basis as He enables and empowers us to fulfill His calling.

I find the closer I get to Jesus the closer I want to get. I find the more answers I find or believe I have the more questions I realize still remain (in a good way). I am overwhelmed and overjoyed to serve Him.

I look forward to connecting with other ministers. I don't have an agenda. I am not looking for debate. I am looking for fellowship and mutual positive impact.

God bless you all!
Rodney
