  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My name is Amanda. I am a 24 year old single mother of two boys. I found love in my childhood best friend and we have been dating for almost a year now. There used to be extra things you could do with blessings (as far as I'm aware), for the time being, just for what they say on the tin; blessing people and making someone smile and know that you're thinking of them. You can send short messages with them too so on top of giving reputation points (by hitting the light bulb on the top right of each post, and viewing your own by going to UserCP on the banner at the top of the page) you can send blessings to someone with a little message to say that you appreciate their posts or that you know they need cheering up, or any reason you fancy

To bless someone you can either find a post by the user and on the left of the post there is a heart and a cross you can click on. For your posts this is under the female and Christian symbols. The other way is to go to their profile page, then 'Statistics' then scroll to the bottom'

To see how many you have, you can go to your own profile page -> statistics -> scroll to the bottom. Or you can view them on your own posts on the right hand side.

To help you a little more: Blessings are used like money to buy and feed virtual pets, and to buy items for your living avatar.
People use them just as 'blessings' also (gesture of friendship)

Your TRANSACTION LOG is located using either the CHECK or PURCHASE BUTTONS on your personal info
(top right of every CF page)
CHECK= viewing blessings received and the ability to transfer some into savings so they can accrue interest weekly
PURCHASE=allows you to bless others

If you receive blessings and want to reply via PM to the donor, you must COPY/PASTE their name in the recipient area of your PM after you hit REPLY.
