  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello everyone! Well obviously I'm new, so I'll introduce myself briefly.

My name is Iman, I'm a 19 year old lady from Flint, Michigan, but at the moment I'm perpetrating as a Floridian (I'm a sophomore at Bethune Cookman College in Daytona). A friend of mine is a member here (not sure of his screen name), and he told me good things about this place, so I decided to experience this for myself. Well don't wanna get too wordy so, that's about all I'm going to say.

Welcome, Iman. Hopefully your experience here will be more fulfilling than showtime. This forum has some great people to know, so just kick back, relax and enjoy yourself. Everyone will take care of you. I'm a blessings-give-away nut, so you can have some of mine as well. I'm starting to run short, so I'm going to have to stop being so liberal with the number I give so I'll have enough for everyone who may need some.
