  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi There!!!

Last week the Lord woke me up early one morning. For a very long time He was trying to get to a wound that I would not give Him access to until I went to a Christian women's meeting. The speaker began to share her story of abuse, and it was like the dam that protected this wound began to crack. When He woke me up, It was clear He was going to have His way. He brought to my mind Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord.
He said let's reason together so I began to tell Him I was angry. I was angry that I was violated by people I trusted. I was angry that I had no choice in having my innocence taken from me. I was angry that I was molested. After I had no words, I just began to weep. As I wept, I could feel God wrap His arms around me and it felt like He placed me in a cocoon. He was healing this place of brokenness. Then, I felt something break off me and He said to me "You were carrying that yoke too long." In my gratitude to the Lord. I wrote this song. I also decided to start a blog to share my testimony (www.unraveledandunveiled.com)

Picking Up The Broken Pieces

I am free, I am free

No longer can you have a hold on me

I'm free, I'm free

No more yokes on me

I'm free, I'm free

I'll bring it to you

What's eating me

What's hurting me

What's broken me

I'll bring it to you

I am free, I am free

No longer can you have a hold on me

I'm free, I'm free

No more yokes on me

I'm free, I'm free

They hurt me

They broke me

But you'll make me whole

Your picking up the broken pieces

I am free, I am free

No longer can you have a hold on me

I'm free, I'm free

No more yokes on me

I'm free, I'm free

My healer come heal me

No more denying you

I'll let you go deep

Remove even the residue of pain

I am free, I am free

No longer can you have a hold on me

I'm free, I'm free

No more yokes on me

I'm free, I'm free

Your picking up the broken pieces

Your picking up the broken pieces

Your picking up the broken pieces
