Thank you. It's certainly been a blessing thus far.

Just finished Mark and am now halfway through Hebrews, with only James and Revelation left. The benefits have been more than a tad discernible - yet difficult to describe too. If anything, a greater sense of His word accompanying me throughout the day.

My wife asked me if when I finish the NT if I will move on to the OT. Don't know about that, honestly. This was quite the effort in and of itself. The OT would easily be several years, but I'm not sure if it'd be as rewarding as the New, if that makes sense.

Makes me slow down. As does reading it in the original languages.
And in the slowing down, for me, it can be as if I'm in the scene, hearing the din of the crowds, feeling the dust and heat, etc. - stuff it can be very difficult to experience at the higher speed of reading.

In John, when he was in the Garden of Gethsemane, reading it in Greek made me see it so clearly. I wept.
