I just got home from seeing it.

This movie had a very good concept, but the film was lacking. Although there were a few jump moments, it felt like the movie could have just ended and it wouldn't have mattered. There wasn't a big climax. And it was a bit predictable. I'm not very good at predicting things in films, but I was able to with this one.

As far as nudity, sex, drugs, swearing, etc.... of course there's the supernatural involved and some swearing, although not a lot.

Over all... I think I would give it a 5/10. It could have been so much better, but it wasn't the worse movie I've seen.

I just saw it today, and I'm a bit irritated. It could have been terrifying - dealt with some really disturbing phenomena - but ended up a lot like every recent 'ghost' thriller that's gone before.

EVP is portrayed wrongly in the film but there are one or two good scares. It's worth a look.

I don't believe in ghosts (I do, however, believe in demons), but these kind of things interest me.

Michael Keaton's character is shown watching fuzzy TV screens for a while, then suddenly seeing really clear images. That's not how it works - you'd have to play a recording back frame by frame to see if anything showed up. Call me a nerd for noticing this, lol, but it just irked me that they assume nobody knows anything about EVP or ITC. I wasn't happy either with the way he saw all the ghosts near the end. They basically took this phenomena which people study seriously and about which very little is known yet, and turned it into a not-very-scary, sentimental fantasy.

I thought it was wicked scarey. For a pg 13 movie it definately was. I was clinging to my better half the whole time. Some people don't think it was that scary at all but, I thought it was. Then I'm usually not into scary though I do think the Sixth Sense was kinda' scary but, much better as a movie.
