Has anyone else seen a ghost before?

My motherinlaw had a heartattack at work & the owners of the business had known the family for years. His daughter was there & tried to give her CPR, but my mtlw had pretty much passed even with so much effort made by the teenager.
That very nite this teenage girl was petrified bcause she heard footsteps going down the hall & there was no one else up at the time. So if that was my mthlw she should've felt comfort not fear...right?
I would advise ya'll that are seeing these beings to give them a little test & see if they pass. If they get agitated or disappear when the blood of Jesus is called upon you've got your answer who they really are. We have to remember like others said that satan is positively brilliant & the father of lies. & who in their rite mind would want to trust the father of lies with anything!...Um I think I'll pass

& too Apostle Paul says to be present with the Lord is to be absent from the body...& Abraham said he couldn't cross the massive gulf to give the Rich Man even a drop of water for his burning tongue...So looking at scripture how could either the righteous or the unrighteous want to/be able to walk the earth? Just doesn't add up me thinks

There was a weird happening a few weeks ago in our house .... and nothing like this had happened before. I put up a wet wash cloth in our bathroom to dry on a hook, I turned my back, it fell to the floor, I picked it back up again, carefully hooked it, and turned, it fell again. I put it back up again, carefully hooked it, watched it for a few seconds, turned my back, and it fell again! This had never happened before. Okay, so I hang it back up again, and it stays. I get dressed... then I go to open our bi-fold doors in the bath to leave the bedroom, and bam! They were locked - this is from the inside they were locked! I have never locked them because never felt the need. Also, this lock is difficult to use, and takes effort, so they did not lock by themselves! Anyway, when I opened the doors, I nearly tore out the lock because of it, and they are now damaged. I was mad. I started saying a lot of things about Jesus, and his blood, and even the nails that held him to the cross, etc., etc. I must have sounded like a religous fanatic lunatic, but I kept saying that. Every time I came back into the room for days on end after that I said similar things - about Jesus, cross, nails, sacrifice, love, etc.... These weird things stopped happening.

Isn't having the absolute power behind Jesus' name awesome!!
I had a dream last week that felt evil & woke up from it just as my hubby was getting ready for his shift. I remember being relieved, but somehow fell rite back to sleep. Then I had a worse dream where my mother's maiden name was mentioned as one of a group of historic old haunted homes. Next Im yelling for my husband for something(he's upstairs) & I feel this evil power pushing me up & I'm levitating standing upright. I start pleading the blood of Jesus & then I start descending & I feel the power grip disappearing.
I tell you I know how you feel, bcause I was wide awake after the dream..& mad, mad, mad bcause I did nothing to invite that thing to torment my dreams. bleh.
It's phenomenal that the Blood can fite them off even in our dreams. Praise God

--- My question is, where do these people fit in?

Like many other school boys I used to try everything to not do my homework in the evenings. When I didn't do my homework, I would often lay in bed worrying about it and then have difficulty sleeping. I was in total shock and couldn't utter a word even though I wanted to shout at the top of my lungs. I don't know why, but I decided to get up and take a closer look, I slowly walked closer, still in absolute shock and horror. As I walked closer I could clearly see the head, it was the head of a boy around my own age, with red curly hair, I could also partially see through the head, so it wasn't like looking at a solid object. I don't know what came over me, but I uttered the word "hello" and slowly started moving towards the door. As I started moving sideways, the head turned towards me. I instantly freaked out completely and jumped to the door, switching the light on and ran to my parents. Before I left the room I glanced back and couldn't see the head anymore. My mom believed me but my dad told me that I had a nightmare. I really had trouble sleeping for a long time after that.

Has anything like this happened to anyone before? I never saw anything like that again.

I did once, last July. I dreamed was in the tomb of the late Pope John Paul II, and his ghost was present, thanking all those, which apparently did not include me, for coming to worship him.

Petrarch, you serious. Did you know much about the pope befor he died? Its weied to have a dream about someone you dont know much about. Maby that was a vision of who he really was and how he really felt who knows right.

This has happened 2 times in the last week, I have a 1 year old 2 story house, I had arrived home and was expecting my kids home soon. I was down stairs and I heard foot steps upstairs, so sure one of my kids beat me home I went up and looked in each room Nothing!

I have never seen a ghost but both of my grandmothers swear they have seen them, also in the hospital my grandfather kept complaing of people walking out side his window, he was on the 2nd floor.

The word used as "ghost" in the Bible leans stronger toward "apparition," which follows the theory that even if they seem benign, they can be decieving spirits.

Our concept of ghosts is a cultural conclusion...a theory based on what people have observed.

Mt 14:26
When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, "It is a ghost!" And they cried out in fear.

Mr 6:49
But when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed that it was a ghost, and cried out; 50 for they all saw Him and were terrified. But immediately He spoke with them and said to them, "Take courage; it is I, do not be afraid."

(Notice Jesus didn't say "You're out of your mind, you're imagining things.")
