No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Sounds good to me. It helps keep people with male genitals in male jails, and people with female genitals in female jails. Of course, it will still be tricky dealing with the trans prisoners who don't want the surgery, but providing the surgeries to those who want them would be an improvement.

The surgery doesn't actually give them the opposite gender's genitals though, it just mutilates it.

Besides, I think this is the least of our concerns.

Is this your expert medical opinion? Could you share your experience with mutilated genitals? How many circumcisions have you done or witnessed?

It’s not possible to give a male a vagina or a female a penis.

This isn’t about circumcision, so I think your argument is meaningless.

That's just patently false. Ask some good Southern, Christian men in Alabama about it. They'll tell you all about how "you can't even tell!" based on their adult entertainment internet habits.

Circumcision is as much "genital mutilation" as any other surgical procedure a qualified medical doctor\surgeon might perform, but it's an accepted practice for "reasons." What about breast augmentation on young, straight boys who have weird hormones that give them enlarged breast tissue? Is that "mutilation" as well? It's as much gender-affirming care as it is for a trans person, but you guys don't poo-poo that procedure even though it is the most common procedure performed on kids under 17.

So, the deciding factor in whether a medical procedure is deemed a-okay or "mutilation" just seems to be whether the person having it is trans or not.
