  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Didn't have time to send this to my friends list, sorry. Am leaving the forum. I appreciate the few kind people here who have been very nice, but am getting very tired of the rude, insulting ones. I seem to be running into more of those types than the polite ones. The other forums I am a member of aren't like that, so I'm guessing I just need to pack it up and move on. Goodbye.

I am sorry that you feel that way and sorry to see you leave, There is always going to be losers and jerks in this world, some that like to annoy others and push their buttons.... Look at the grade A loser.. Normarga ,for example.

but I hope that maybe you will return .in the future and give the forum a second chance aand mybe stay alittle longer. Good Bye for now and all the best to you.

Although I do not really know you, I would encourage you to learn to deal with difficult people instead of simply leaving when encountered with one. In this world, there are plenty of difficult people and one can't simply walk away from all of them. Of course, you can also just ignore them.

I would second that. I would also like to add , as I said before that there are people who, for whatever reason enjoy pushing peoples buttons and in those cases the best thing to do is to ignore them, because they want you to react.

I'm pretty sure she is leaving because she's been corrected in a few forums while giving terrible advice then calling it rude and insulting when people with obviously more experience and knowledge bring it to surface.

Sorry, but when dealing with peoples real issues, it's best to provide the best advice possible so those issues can be handled. If that means having to correct someones mistakes that could potentially be more damaging to the persons with the issue, then so be it. Many threads on this forum deal with some serious issues that should not be taken lightly if the person is seriously looking for help. They need the best information possible.

I'd dissagree simply because the internet isn't real life. People don't act like normal civillised folk when given the power of animosity, and there is no point treating the trouble makers online like it's a difficult customer at work.

You'll learn your place around here quick. I don't mind the snarky jabs, but what I can't stand are the really uptight people that can't take a joke, like those in the singles forum. In the end everyone has to figure out their place, and I've come to the realization that those people aren't merely in-between relationships but remain single for a reason!
