You know, I never really thought about the difference in the days between us and God. One of God's days could be 10 years to our day. We don't know.

Oh, as for the theory of evolution I would like to see some realy sossils of animals going from what they are to something else!

I'm just a newbie ignoramus Christian but I have a thought that might help cloud the issue further...

How about after everything was created? Including Adam and Eve? They were walking around the garden together and everything was honkey dorey until the serpent opened his big mouth. Now it doesn't really say how long they were there before this happened does it? Does it? It could have even been BILLIONS of years eh? Since there was no sin or death...So maybe it's possible that dinosaurs DID lives millions of years ago and that creation of everything DID happen in 6 days.

As I said I"m just an ignoramus- quick, someone correct me!

Do you believe in Thestic Evolution?

But as anyone stopped to consider the possiblity that the whole theory doesn't match up with the laws of science.. There's so much evidence that few people have looked at, even from the beginning of the Big Bang...

Hi there!

Any thoughts?

Yes.

Because of the translation of Genesis concerning the "evening", I see the day being a literal day. As for the dinosaurs, the word dinosaur wasn't "created" until 1841. Before then, the critters were known as dragons, and there are references in the Bible to "dragons" as well as descriptions of dinosaurs.

As for fossils, I have yet to read or see any proof that any fossil is older than the dirt God created when He created the literal world in six literal days.

Just because man say the earth was created millions of years ago along with fossils, doesn't make it a fact of God.

It matches up perfectly. "as (sic) anyone stopped to consider...." - millions of scientists use evolution daily in their work. I think they'd have noticed, wouldn't you?

There's so much evidence that few people have looked at, even from the beginning of the Big Bang...
Do present it in the science forum. If it's from Hovind, check it on the net first because the man is not knowledgeable about science and some of his material is not truthful.

Well, I guess not. Evolution has so much against us, and people choose not to believe. As a sort of putting God on the shelf so that they don't have to deal with themselves.
I could debunk the whole Theory just by using the Seconf law of Thermodynamics, or the law of Gravity.... Because with the act of some gravitational body (even before the Big Bang) to stop the particals... Though I'll expound later.... As for now I have to run

Evolution has nothing to do with not believing in God. A good proportion of the scientists I mention are Christians, just as in the general population.

I could debunk the whole Theory just by using the Seconf law of Thermodynamics,
No, you couldn't. Various people are claiming they can do that in the two creation/evolution forums here and none of them have actually come up with the goods - i.e. a process upon which evolution depends which is themodynamically impossible according to the SLoT. If the SLoT forbade evolution, do you not think the physicists would have pointed it out?

I look forward to it. Do it in the appropriate forums though.

Well, another 6 day creationist.

good luck brother, with this crowd, youre gonna need it.

Id say trust God, not fallible dating method and fallible mans interpretation of ''evidence''.

Trust Him and make no hasty decisions either way.
He may surprise you with what He can show you when you dont let things cloud your mind.

Except that Genesis 1:5 shows EXACTLY what these days were.

And God called the light, Day. And He called the darkness, Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

(Gen 1:5)

The whole thing is in reference to THIS planet and apparently is showing one revolution of the earth.

The thing that struck me is that God didnt need to specify ANY time frame at all in Genesis one.
Wouldnt I been easier for us if He jsut said ''hey iI created it all and I took my time about it"?

Yet here we have the words being very specific about the exact things that occurred in these '' days'' (yom).
If yoiu havent already, study the Hebrew.
Once you start seeing what the Hebrew actually means, it leaves you with no choice but to accept that it means literal single earth rotation days and at that point you have to decide whether yoiu believe your God or fallible men and their dating methods.
