  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Please ask the Lord that He would provide a better job for me. I work at Wal-mart and I hate it.
The hours are lousy and I have to take a bunch of crap off of some twenty year olds who have no respect for their elders. I needed a job at the time I started out there and I have come to regret my choice. They make you work odd hours (I just got off at 8pm and have to be back at 7am and work till 4pm) and minimum pay. I need a Job that has more respect for it's employees than what I have seen there. Please pray God will open up something for me soon. Thanks.

I worked at Wal-Mart for a couple years. It's rough! Can't go to church regular because of work... mean people... STRESS... God found me another job though, and I'll pray the same for you!

Lord Jesus, thank you for "RepentantSaint". Thank you for bringing him here to CF. Please be with him, we pray that you will open up new job opportunity. One that he can glorify You in. And please bless him in his walk with you. This I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Dear Lord, I have worked at Walmart before and remember Lord Jesus, I hated it! Thank you Jesus that you are going to open up the doors for a better job, those who love and serve you, a light in the darkeness. Lord Jesus we ask for a job with better pay, good hours and wonderful fellowship. Nothing is too big for our God
You just trust Him, it's gonna be alright!

Dear God, I pray now for RepentantSaint as he endures this job at Wal Mart. God we know that sometimes we will have to endure things and we know it's your will, so God while we are enduring these things we need strength that only you can give us Lord. Lord I pray that if it's your will for him to remain at Wal Mart you give him the strength to endure his day to day shifts but if it's not your will for him to be there, Lord send someone his way to direct his path to where you would have him work. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

for this lady and her job. Lord you have a reason and a purpose for her to be in this job right now. We trust that you know what is good for her. Lord help her with the strength to endure the bad things that is happening to her now. Give her the wisdom to let your light shine through her to others around her during her work shifts. Let people become curious to ask her questions. Thank you for providing this job to her that helps her pay her bills and support herself and family. Thank you that you will carry her through any rough times.....in your loving name I pray...Amen!
