We can all objectively agree that we die. The body stops working and our hearts stop beating. Everyone from all faiths atheist, theist can agree on this without agreement. My thought/question is, why is it that God can be argued about.

A faiths position on God is that it is essential to believe in him due to what will happen after death. Yet the issue of the details of faith, prophets and holy books is obviously disagreed on throughout the world.

So the question is, why is it that death is objective, with agreements on all side. Yet God can be argued about. Why is God not as objective as death is, as it would seem, if God was real, it would be more important for his existence to be objective/argument proof.

You are best to ask this of the one you wish to worship. All you will get from humans is opinion.

I don't understand what you are asking here.
Everyone accepts that death(of the body at least) exists because, quite frankly, we can perceive it through our senses; We see people die. We know it empirically.
God is an infinate, spiritual, non material being and thus is far beyond our comprehension, since we cannot perceive Him through our senses.

...it would seem, if God was real, it would be more important for his existence to be objective/argument proof.
Not really. A lot of people are apatheists; They don't care whether God exists or not.
It might suit you to know it for sure, but not everyone;

Atheists see Him as an ultimate dictator and thus reject Him.
If they accepted that He really existed, they could no longer be happy.
They would feel they were doomed to be ruled by this dictator for the rest of their lives (and beyond)

Believers on the other hand, would take Him for granted, and there would not be any relatonship between them.

If we knew, we would be doomed to either be scared of Him and be his inwilling slaves, or be indifferent towards Him and forget Him though we accept His existance.

PS; It's funny though; It was the concept of death and life that led me to believe there was a Designer behind our World

The very fact that death is so abundantly obvious to us the reason why we have such a hard time perceiving God. Death is the product of being torn away from Him, who is Himself the source of Life. We are entrenched in death, and that is why God came to destroy it.

Hi,

The fact is God does make himself known, some times it just takes a little bit of time for him to reveal himself. He is not the kind of God to just hide away and force us to live on our own. I have had many real experiences with God, to read about them see my personal website at Know God Personally

Unless God is testing all of us to see if we can genuinely love and respect people who view God and what happens after death and politics differently than we do??????
