This evidence will prove beyond reasonable doubt, that the Sabbath of the fourth commandment has ten times more significance, then has yet been realized or understood by God's people today, possibly, not since the time that Jesus walked the earth, nearly 2000 years ago. The latter rain also, will be shown to be inseparably connected to this new light on the Sabbath.[/FONT]


[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]In order to comprehend and understand this glorious light on the Sabbath, one needs to rediscover and utilize God's entire prophetic code, which Jesus gave to Moses. (and later interpreted, by His fulfillment of the feast days relating to His first advent 2000 years ago) This was all recorded in the Bible for the purpose of aiding God's people in unlocking the precise timing of the events in God's plan of salvation.[/FONT]
[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]This old covenant system was actually a precise and intricate prophecy of the events, and of the exact timing of the events, that are to transpire within the new covenant, which is the heavenly sanctuary system, now in process in Heaven, where Jesus is our High Priest.[/FONT]

As we gather up the divine rays shining from the gospel, we shall have a clearer insight into the Jewish economy, and a deeper appreciation of its important truths. Our exploration of truth is yet incomplete. We have gathered up only a few rays of light. Those who are not daily students of the Word will not solve the problems of the Jewish economy. They will not understand the truths taught by the Temple service. The work of God is hindered by a worldly understanding of His great plan. -Letter 156, 1903, pp. 2, 3. (To P. T. There are many Spirit of Prophecy statements similar to these four quoted above, some of these are quoted in other parts of this 5-part study.


[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Leviticus 23 (KJV) is the chapter which specifies the observances of the [/FONT]weekly seventh-day Sabbath, [FONT=Times New Roman, serif]as well as, [/FONT]each of the other annual feast days in the old covenant system[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]. [/FONT]The seven annual feasts are: (1) Passover, (2) Week of Unleavened Bread, (3) Wave Sheaf, (which always occurs on the second day of Unleavened Bread) (4) Day of Pentecost, (5) Feasts of Trumpets, (6) Day of Atonement, (7) Feast of Tabernacles (8 days in this Feast). The first four feasts occur in spring and the three remaining occur in the fall.

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]THE SHADOWY SABBATHS AND THEIR ANTI-TYPE[/FONT]
[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Some of these are listed as “Sabbaths”, “holy convocations”, and days of “no servile work”. Others are listed as “holy convocations” and days of “no servile work”. Each has a distinctive meaning. “Sabbath” means “Sabbath”; “holy convocation” means only a “holy convocation”; no “servile work” means only “no servile work”. The “Sabbath” is a “holy convocation”, but a “holy convocation” is not necessarily a “Sabbath”. For example, Wednesday prayer meeting is a “holy convocation”, but it is not a “Sabbath”, and it is not a day of “no servile work”. There are only two feast days with the requirement of absolutely no work whatsoever. These two days are, the seventh-day Sabbath and the Day of Atonement. [/FONT]


[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]To illustrate this point, let us look at God's specifications for the Day of Pentecost in Leviticus 23: 15-21 KJV. One can clearly see that Pentecost is required to come theday after the seventh Sabbath counting from the Wave Sheaf offering, Wave Sheaf being the second day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread; yet Pentecost is specified to be a “holy convocation” and, also, a “day of no servile work”, but, it is not a Sabbath, because it is specified to come on the morrow after a Sabbath,just like the specifications are for the Wave Sheaf offering.[/FONT]


[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be complete: 16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall ye number fifty days;....21 And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations. Leviticus 23: 15-21 KJV.[/FONT]


[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]These Sabbaths, 8 of which are mentioned in the verses above (Lev. 23:15-21), are all 'shadowy” Sabbaths, described in Colossians 2: 16, 17, as … “shadows of things to come” KJV. They follow their own seven-day cycle beginning on the new moon of the first and the seventh month only, of the sacred year. The only purpose for these “shadowy” Sabbaths within the feast days, which are besides the seventh-day Sabbath, (Lev. 23:37, 38, Col 2:16) is to show exactly the days of the week the feast days will ultimately be fulfilled on, in relation to the weekly seventh-day Sabbath.[/FONT]


[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]These “shadowy” Sabbaths are sometimes referred to as, “ceremonial Sabbaths”, but they, nor their purpose are understood, as they must be. These “shadowy Sabbaths” (Colossians 2: 16, 17 KJV)are just that, shadows of seventh-day Sabbaths to come. “Shadowy Sabbaths” are prophecies of future seventh-day Sabbaths. Each type in the old sanctuary system mentioned in Leviticus 23-25 has an anti-type . These Sabbaths can, truly, be called, the “type” and seventh-day Sabbaths the “anti-type”. The inspired statement below clearly shows God's interpretation of Colossians 2:16, giving us more evidence, in the process of unraveling the prophetic code.[/FONT]
“[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]One day as Elder Corliss stepped out of a train, the guard [conductor] stopped him with the request that he explain Colossians 2:16. [FONT=Times New Roman, serif]There are exactly 12 annual (shadowy) Sabbaths listed in Leviticus 23-25 KJV, with 8 of these outlined within the spring feasts, and calculated from the first new moon after the spring equinox, according to the ancient Hebrew calendar, and the remaining 4 within the fall feasts, calculated from the seventhnew moon, the month of the harvest feasts.[/FONT]


[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]These “shadowy Sabbaths” are, in verity, the prophetic code one must use to understand the precise timing of the plan which God gave to Moses, and it is this same code, that the Messiah revealed to His disciples at His first advent, that unlocks for future generations the timing of the types relating to His second advent. This code and its implications will be the main focus of this 5 part study on the “Glorious Sabbath in the Mysterious Sanctuary”.[/FONT]


[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]God designed the entire Jewish economy, in such a way that both the events of the great plan of salvation, and the exact timing of these events were typified in this ritual round of ceremonies, which took a period of fifty years to complete, and then, began all over again. Within this ritual system there is a prophetic code which can easily be deciphered with the aid of the Holy Spirit, by any sincere and devoted Bible student. But one must pay close attention to all the intricate details of these rituals, and also use a literal translation like the King James version of the Holy Bible, or Young's Literal Translation of the Bible. [FONT=Times New Roman, serif]THE HOLY SEVENTH-DAY SABBATH ON THE NEW MOON[/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]1. All the feast days in the old sanctuary system were scheduled from the new moon of the first month of the sacred year, (the beginning of which was“corresponding to the last of March and the beginning of April.” PP . 537.)[/FONT]

Whenever the new moon, used to designate the timing of the feast days, (which would be the first and the seventh new moon, beginning the first and the seventh month of the sacred year), falls on a seventh-day Sabbath, then all the “shadowy” Sabbaths (ceremonial Sabbaths)which are calculated from that new moon, also, fall on seventh-day-Sabbaths KJV. This is God's mysterious code. It was this prophetic code that Jesus revealed to His disciples 2000 years ago, which was later lost during the dark ages, and is only now being rediscovered by God's people today.[/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]This is apparently the reason God links these two significant days together, the seventh-day Sabbath and the new moon, in the new heaven and the new earth which He will create. In combination they are the “key”, that unlocks the prophecies of Moses, as revealed in the old covenant system of Hebrew worship.[/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]The spring feast days from Passover to Pentecost number 52 days, according to the Bible evidence (Leviticus 23:5-16 KJV), and the main Hebrew calendars in use today. (There is no variation in the count of the days, or the manner of observance from year to year) The ceremonies within the spring feast days were observed unvaried every year, this indicates that there was no specially designated year, when these spring feast days would meet their fulfillment from the books of Moses. (The prophet Daniel, however, in Daniel 9:27says it was to occur in the midst of the 70th week of years.) This, however, was not the case for the fall feast days.[/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]The fall feast days, 22 literal days, had extra special ceremonies that where performed only in the Sabbatical and Jubilee years. Clearly, indicating that their main fulfillment would be in these two special years. Some of the fall feast days had extra special ceremonies in the Sabbatical year only (the year of release). The law of God was read to all, men, women, children, and the stranger during the days of the Feast of Tabernacles Deuteronomy 31:10-16. This practice was reserved just for the Sabbatical year (the year of release).[/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Deuteronomy 31:10-13 KJV And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of [every] seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles, When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing. Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that [is] within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law: And [that] their children, which have not known [any thing], may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.)[/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]The Day of Atonement also, had extra special significance in the Sabbatical year (year of release), when certain classes of Hebrew slaves were set free (Deuteronomy 15:1, 12). This evidence shows that a fulfillment of the Day of Atonement can be expected to take place in a Sabbath year. No doubt, this is the Sabbatical year that precedes the year of Jubilee. [/FONT]


[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]The reason for this is that there are 4 “shadowy” Sabbaths that must all come on seventh-day Sabbaths in their fulfillment, and this always happens in two consecutive years, Remember the year before the Jubilee year is always a Sabbatical year. [/FONT]

The Jubilee trumpet was blown only on that special Holy day, when all slaves where set free from slavery.( So it can now be clearly seen that Jesus designed the Day of Atonement to come on the tenth day of the month, because only then, are all four of the “shadowy Sabbaths within the fall feast days, positioned to come on seventh-day Sabbaths in these two consecutive years, the very years when they have their extra special significance. [FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Since there was no ripe barley for the Wave Sheaf when using the Hillel II calendar in 1844, early Adventists calculated the feasts days by using the ancient Hebrew reckoning, this caused the Day of Atonement to fall on Tuesday October 22 in 1844, instead of Monday, September 23. There must be ripe barley for the Wave Sheaf offering on the 16th day of the first Hebrew month. [/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]This is the reason the ancient Hebrew calendar should be used today. Actually, both of these calendars agree about half of the time for the fall feast days, and they are in agreement on the four perfect Sabbath alignments within the fall feasts in the 49thand 50thyears that occur now in our time. Therefore, the seventh-day Sabbath shines the brightest of them all, just as the sun shines brighter than the moon.[/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]The (shadowy)Sabbaths are calculated from the new moon, and occur in an exact seven-day sequence, as does the seventh-day Sabbath. All shadowy Sabbaths are calculated from only two of the new moons of the sacred year, the first new moon, and the seventh or last new moon, even though some of the shadowy Sabbaths extend into the third month of the sacred year. [FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Like the days of the week, the years are also counted in a cycle of seven, a week of years, with the seventh year being the Sabbath year. In the seventh year the land rested, as a reminder of the seventh millennium in which the earth will rest. It is also called a “year of release”Deuteronomy 15:1, since certain Hebrew slaves were set free in the Sabbath year, (and this took place on the Day of Atonement.) The 7 X 7 Sabbaths is a reminder that after the alignment of ALL 7 of the different kinds of Sabbaths in one area of time, the end will come.[/FONT]

LOCATING THE ANCIENT BIBLE JUBILEE

The prophecies of Moses are the first written record showing the significance of the Jubilee. The ancient Bible Jubilee year is easily located in the Bible and in other ancient historical Hebrew records.

“In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.” 2 Corinthians 13:1

The testimony of all three witnesses and more will be given to pinpoint the Jubilee year.

The Jubilee years were prophetic of two of the great events in the plan of redemption; the first day of Christ's public ministry at His first advent, and, also, “the day of vengeance of our God”, just before the second advent, see (Isaiah 61:1,2). According to the prophecy which God gave to Moses in Leviticus 23 and 25, the Jubilee (in fulfillment) must be ushered in on a Day of Atonement and that day must be a seventh-day Sabbath. (The Jubilee calendar can be seen on the last page of this study).

This is precisely how Jesus fulfilled the first part of the Jubilee prophecy. In the proclamation of the Jubilee on the Day of Atonement, in the synagogue on the seventh-day Sabbath, Jesus stopped in the middle of the sentence, omitting the phrase, “and the day of vengeance of our God,” which was the last part of the same sentence that He was reading from the Jubilee prophecy of Isaiah 61. He closed the book and then proclaimed,

“This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.” Luke 4:21

“... as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave [it] again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.” Luke 4:16-21

“The spirit of the Lord GOD [is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to [them that are] bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,...” Isaiah 61:1,2

The Bible cross-reference to the text in Luke is Isaiah 61:1, 2, and then, from Isaiah, the reference is to Leviticus 25, the great Jubilee prophecy. Jesus did not complete the sentence He was reading from Isaiah 61, as that portion of the Jubilee prophecy did not apply to His first advent. The part of the sentence that He omitted applies to the “day of vengeance of our God:” which will be fulfilled just before He returns to earth for the second time.

This Jubilee, “the day of vengeance of our God,” was illustrated by the experience of Elijah, the prophet, in his three and one-half year ministry culminating on Mt. Carmel where Elijah dealt with the priests of Baal, who had led God's people into apostasy. This was just before the time of the appearance of the small cloud, the size of a man's hand, representing the second coming of Jesus.


“And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand.” 1 Kings 18:44.
“Soon there appears in the east a small black cloud, about half the size of a man's hand. It is the cloud which surrounds the Saviour, and which seems in the distance to be shrouded in darkness. The people of God know this to be the sign of the Son of man.” GC 640 E.G. White


In the ancient Hebrew writings from the time of Elijah, there is recorded an amazing statement regarding the location of the Jubilee. (an actual statement made by Elijah)


“Elijah told Judah, the brother of Sala Hasida, 'The world will endure not less than 85 Jubilees, and on the last Jubilee the Son of David will come.” (Sanh.97b) from the book, "Sabbatical Year and Jubilee", p. 581-582 (Jewish Synagogue Library)


(No one knows how long the earth endured from the creation of the world until man fell into sin, but it couldn't have been much over the time of two Jubilees (a period of 98 years), as Adam's third son was born when Adam was one hundred and thirty years old (Genesis 5:3) and Abel had just been killed by Cain. From the entrance of sin until 27 C.E. when Jesus started His public ministry, could have been about 4067 years or 83 Jubilee cycles, which consequently would have been 85 Jubilee's after creation, fitting exactly the prophecy of Elijah)

In these same ancient Hebrew writings is stated,

“The sages ... reckoned the historical order and the end of time by Sabbatical Years and Jubilees.” from the book, Sabbatical Year and Jubilee, p. 581 (Jewish Synagogue Library)

“Israel counted 17 Jubilees from the time they entered the land to the time they left it” (Ar. 12b). from the book, Sabbatical Year and Jubilee, p. 581 (Jewish Synagogue Library)

Josephus, the first century Jewish historian, in the book “JOSEPHUS COMPLETE WORKS”, p. 706, begins his list of the ancient Jubilee years with the year, “1787 B.C.E.” and ends the list with his last recorded Jubilee year of “27 C.E.”.

Each Jubilee cycle is forty-nine years in sequence, the Jubile year is the 50th year, but it was also the first year in the next set of 49 years. His placement agrees perfectly with the proclamation Jesus made announcing the Jubilee (Luke 4:16-21). This completely harmonizes with the date of 27 A.D. for this event given by the prophet, E.G. White, recorded in Prophets and Kings, p. 698.


“In A.D. 27, Jesus at His baptism received the anointing of the Holy Spirit and soon afterward began His ministry. Then the message was proclaimed, "The time is fulfilled." Mark 1:15. PK 698 E.G. White


Regarding the last Jubilee, “the day of vengeance of our God”, the prophet E.G. White describes the occurrence of this great Jubilee in Early Writings, p. 285. Please note that this is not the time of the second coming of Jesus, which takes place some number of days after this time. The number of days is unknown until the Father speaks the day and the hour of Jesus' second coming at the moment the Jubilee commences.


“And as God spoke the day and hour of Jesus' coming, [Ezekiel 12:25. Mark 13:32.] and delivered the everlasting covenant to His people, [Ezekiel 20:37. Hebrews 12:22-25.] He spoke one sentence, and then paused, while the words were rolling through the earth! [Jeremiah 25:30, 31.] The Israel of God stood with their eyes fixed upwards, listening to the words as they came from the mouth of Jehovah, and rolled through the earth like peals of loudest thunder! It was awfully solemn. At the end of every sentence, the saints shouted, Glory! Hallelujah! Their countenances were lighted up with the glory of God; and they shone with the glory as Moses' face did when he came down from Sinai. The wicked could not look on them, for the glory. Then commenced the jubilee, when the land should rest. I saw the pious slave rise in triumph and victory, and shake off the chains that bound him, while his wicked master was in confusion, and knew not what to do; for the wicked could not understand the words of the voice of God. In early Adventism, in hymnals like the “Christ in Song”, there are many songs about the soon anticipated Sabbatical and Jubilee years, many of these, however were omitted in subsequent hymnals.

THE SABBATH ALIGNMENTS IN THE FALL FEASTS IN THE 49TH AND 50TH YEARS

JOSEPHUS, FIRST CENTURY JEWISH HISTORIAN LISTS C.E. 27 AS A JUBILEE YEAR

HILLEL I calendar was used from Moses' time to C.E. 354. The HILLEL I calendar uses all the principles for calculation that God gave to Moses to designate the times and the seasons. Whenever the HILLEL II calendar (the Jewish calendar in use today) begins the year with the new moon after the spring equinox, then both calendars agree on the timing of the fall feasts.


The Pharisee and the Sadducee methods of scheduling the feasts differed; but, both agreed at the time Jesus fulfilled the Feast days relating to His first coming. The two calendars, HILLEL I (HI) , & HILLEL II (HII) are in agreement for the four rare alignments of the fall feasts.

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]In view of the specific detailed requirements of the fall feast days (“the types relating to the second advent “) which Jesus taught to Moses in Leviticus 23,-25 and in Deuteronomy 16, and 31, an in-depth examination of the Advent Movement culminating in the “Midnight Cry” of 1844, must be made, specifically, in light of the requirements for the Sabbatical and the Jubilee Years.[/FONT]


[FONT=Times New Roman, serif](We must always remember that William Miller was shown two caskets full of the same jewels, the first one given to him, was as bright as the sun, wile the second was much larger and ten times brighter then the sun. [FONT=Times New Roman, serif]This “Midnight Cry”, “Behold, the Bridegroom cometh ! Go ye out to meet Him,” focused on only one of the fall feast days, the Day of Atonement, Tuesday, October22, 1844, as the time of the return of Jesus to this earth. We must never forget that this “Midnight Cry” is referred to by E.G. White, in “A Word To The Little Flock”, p.14 and in Christian Experience and Teachings of E.G. White, p.57,58, as the “bright light” at the first end of the path that lightens the way the saints must travel until the time that they hear the voice of God giving them the actual day and hour of Jesus' coming.[/FONT]


“ [FONT=Times New Roman, serif]It was not long after the passing of the time, in 1844, that my [/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman, serif]first vision was given me.[/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman, serif]I was visiting Mrs. Haines at Portland, a dear sister in Christ, whose heart was knit with mine; five of us, all women, were kneeling quietly at the family altar. While we were praying, the power of God came upon me as I had never felt it before. [/FONT]


[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]I seemed to be surrounded with light, and to be rising higher and higher from the earth. I turned to look for the advent people in the world, but could not find them, when a voice said to me, "Look again, and look a little higher." At this, I raised my eyes, and saw a straight and narrow path, cast up high above the world. On this path the advent people were traveling to the city which was at the farther end of the path. They had a bright light set up behind them at the beginning of the path, which an angel told me was the "midnight cry."[See Matthew 25:6.] This light shone all along the path, and gave light for their feet, so that they might not stumble. [FONT=Times New Roman, serif]If they kept their eyes fixed on Jesus, who was just before them, leading them to the city, they were safe. But soon some grew weary, and said the city was a great way off, and they expected to have entered it before. Then Jesus would encourage them by raising His glorious right arm, and from His arm came a light which waved over the advent band,and they shouted "Alleluia!" Others rashly denied the light behind them, and said that it was not God that had led them out so far. The light behind them went out, leaving their feet in perfect darkness, and they stumbled and lost sight of the mark and of Jesus, and fell off the path down into the dark and wicked world below. Soon we heard the voice of God like many waters, which gave us the day and hour of Jesus' coming.” Christian Experience and Teachings of E.G. [FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Please note, again, that the “Midnight Cry,” “Behold, the Bridegroom cometh, go ye out to meet Him,” in 1844, is the “bright light” at the beginning of the path, that God's people travel to the Holy City. Referring to the time just before the second coming of Jesus, E.G. White says, “My mind was carried to the future, when the signal will be given, “Behold the Bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet Him.” This statement is found in the RH, February 11, 1896 par. 6.[/FONT]


[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]These statements clearly show that the “Midnight Cry,” pointing to the Day of Atonement on Tuesday, October 22, 1844, has a reapplication, and that it is a prophecy, a forerunner, if you will, of the future final call, when the parable of the ten virgins is repeated.[/FONT]

“[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]This parable has been and [/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman, serif]will be fulfilled to the very letter,[/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman, serif] for it has a special application to this time,...”[/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Advent Review and Sabbath Herald, August 19, 1890, E.G. White.[/FONT]
“[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.”[/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Ecclesiastes 3:15.[/FONT]
[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]In light of this dual application of the “Midnight Cry,” “Behold, the Bridegroom cometh, go ye out to meet Him,” there are other aspects of the 1844 movement to which this would also apply. These are prophetic of future events, as well, one of them being the reference to the judgment on the Day of Atonement, “the judgment sat and the books were opened.” In the scripture study of E.G. White's writings on this text, we see that approximately 20% of her statements refer to the Day of Atonement, Tuesday, October 22, 1844, while 80% refer to the future pee-advent judgment, “when the judgment shall sit, and the books shall be opened.”[/FONT]


[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Of this 80 %, two specific future judgments are brought to view that apply especially to God's people. The first of these two would involve the judgment of the Church, while the second would concern the individuals living at the time of the judgment of the living would begin. A few statements by E.G. White will be given to support this fact.[/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]From the statement by E.G. White that prophetic time ended in 1844, there will never again be a day for a year interpretation of Bible prophecy. The final application of the 2300 day prophecy, reaching to the time when the sanctuary will be cleansed for the living, will be just that, 2300 literal days, and these days will be counted from a future going forth of a commandment to restore and build Jerusalem. [/FONT]
“[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]I saw that they were correct in their reckoning of the prophetic periods; prophetic time closed in 1844,” Early Writings, p. 243.[/FONT]
[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]The three angels' messages were given in relation to the 1840-1844 movement with the first angel's message pointing to the hour of God's judgment on the Day of Atonement, October 22, 1844, the end of the 2300 day prophecy of Daniel 8:14, by counting a day for a year from the going forth of the “commandment to restore and build Jerusalem” issued by Artaxerxes in 457 B.C.E. [/FONT]


[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]In light of the following statements, when the first angel's message is repeated, it will again focus attention on a Day of Atonement, “the hour of Gods judgment,” which of cores will be at the end of a literal 2300 days from the going forth of another literal commandment to restore and build Jerusalem, very similar to the commandment that went forth to the entire world on June 27, 1980. [/FONT]
“[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]The [/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman, serif]first, second, and third angels' messages are to be repeated. [FONT=Times New Roman, serif]In comparing the specific requirements of the fall feast days, given to Moses by Jesus, Himself, with the actual fulfillment of the judgment at the end of the 2300 years on the Day of Atonement in 1844, we see that the fulfillment of the fall feast types in 1844 was not a complete fulfillment of the fall feast types, but, rather a partial fulfillment of one of them only, the Day of Atonement. There was no literal fulfillment of the Feast of Trumpets or of the eight days of the Feast of Tabernacles. Remember, however, that the “Midnight Cry” of October 22, 1844 is the “bright light” at the first end of the path.[/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]The fall feasts must be fulfilled in 22 literal days, and this fulfillment must be in a seventh Sabbatical Year, for the Day of Atonement to fall on the seventh-day Sabbath in the following year, the year of Jubilee, thus fulfilling the requirement of each of the fall feast days occurring on the seventh-day Sabbath in the two year period of the seventh Sabbatical year and the year of Jubilee. In1844, there was no 22 day literal fulfillment of the fall feast days comparable to the 52 day literal fulfillment of the spring feast days in C.E. 31 at the first advent.[/FONT]
[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]The statement by E.G. White, “In like manner, the types which relate to the second advent must be fulfilled at the time pointed out in the symbolic service”. GC88 399.3, has not yet. been fulfilled.[/FONT]

But when the spectators increased, everyone would begin to trouble the jewels, taking them out of the casket and scattering them on the table. [/FONT]
[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]I began to think that the owner would require the casket and the jewels again at my hand; and if I suffered them to be scattered, I could never place them in their places in the casket again as before; and felt I should never be able to meet the accountability, for it would be immense. I then began to plead with the people not to handle them, nor to take them out of the casket; but the more I pleaded, the more they scattered; and now they seemed to scatter them all over the room, on the floor and on every piece of furniture in the room. [FONT=Times New Roman, serif]I then saw that among the genuine jewels and coin they had scattered an innumerable quantity of spurious jewels and counterfeit coin[/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman, serif]. I was highly incensed at their base conduct and ingratitude, and reproved and reproached them for it; [/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman, serif]but the more I reproved, the more they scattered the spurious jewels and false coin among the genuine.[/FONT]
[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]I then became vexed in my physical soul and began to use physical force to push them out of the room; but while I was pushing out one, three more would enter and bring in dirt and shavings and sand and all manner of rubbish, until they covered every one of the true jewels, diamonds, and coins, which were all excluded from sight. They also tore in pieces my casket and scattered it among the rubbish. I thought no man regarded my sorrow or my anger. I became wholly discouraged and disheartened, and sat down and wept. [/FONT]

Immediately the door opened, and a man entered the room, when the people all left it; and he, having a dirt brush in his hand, opened the windows, and began to brush the dirt and rubbish from the room. [FONT=Times New Roman, serif]I cried to him to forbear, for there were some precious jewels scattered among the rubbish. He told me to "fear not," for he would "take care of them". [/FONT]

In the bustle I closed my eyes for a moment; when I opened them, the rubbish was all gone. The precious jewels, the diamonds, the gold and silver coins, lay scattered in profusion all over the room. [FONT=Times New Roman, serif]He then placed on the table a casket, much larger and more beautiful than the former, and gathered up the jewels, the diamonds, the coins, by the handful, and cast them into the casket, till not one was left, although some of the diamonds were not bigger than the point of a pin. [FONT=Times New Roman, serif]There are only two areas of time in history from 27 C.E., until today, 2007, when all the fall feast days meet all the specifications, as originally designed by Jesus, then revealed by Him to Moses, and, later, explained to His disciples, by His fulfillment of the types. These two areas of time would be 1888-1889, and 1986-1987, (however, according to (Hebcal) the perpetual Hebrew calendar, there are still several more perfect alignments, and all are in our day, and then after these, no more alignments even if one looks 1000 years farther into the future.) [/FONT]


[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]In examining 1888-1889, we find that 1888 was a seventh Sabbatical year (a 49th year), and 1889 was a Jubilee year. According to the ancient Hebrew calendar, all four of the fall feast days fell on seventh-day Sabbaths within those two years, exactly, as would be required in the fulfilling of prophecy .[/FONT]
[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Speaking of this same time period, E.G. White wrote, [/FONT]

I saw that you willfully rejected what you knew to be truth just because it was too humiliating to your dignity. The second, of these two areas in time, would be the seventh Sabbatical year (the 49th year) of 1986, and the Biblical Jubilee year (the 50th year), of 1987. These two consecutive years meet every specification for the 49th and 50th years. All four of the “shadowy Sabbaths” in the fall feast days fell on seventh-day Sabbaths within those two years.



THE FALL FEASTS DAYS ARE UNMISTAKABLY LINKED TO BOTH
THE 2300 DAYS AND ALSO THE THREE ANGELS MESSAGES



That which gave the Day of Atonement, October 22, 1844, such special significance, was that on this day the longest time prophecy, the 2300 years, had ended. This period had begun with the “going forth of the commandment to restore and build Jerusalem” in (457 B.C.), as related in Daniel 9.


Similarly, the Day of Atonement, October 13, 1986, came at the end of 2300 days which had also, begun with the “going forth of a commandment to restore and build Jerusalem”.



This commandment “went forth” to the whole world via Reuters International News Agency, on Friday, June 27, 1980. It was picked up the same day by other major news services around the world.



[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]This commandment was introduced into the Israeli Knesset, [/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman, serif]and became law in Israel.[/FONT]




THE DEVASTATING VOLCANO BLAST OF MOUNT ST. HELENS




The devastating volcano blast of Mount St. Helens in the U.S.A. On May 18, 1980, and the Dark Day that followed, announced this prophetic fulfillment. This event occurred exactly 200 years after the Dark Day of May 19, 1780, which also had prophetic implications. The next month (after Mt. St. Helens eruption) on Friday, June 27, 1980, Reuters News Agency broadcast over the entire world the law introduced into the Israeli Knesset by Guela Kohen, which was then overwhelmingly passed by the Knesset and became the law of Israel.


The going forth of this commandment to restore and build Jerusalem on June 27, 1980, meets every specification of Daniel 9:25 to be the beginning point of the twenty-three hundred day prophecy, at the end of which judgment would come, or in other words, the sanctuary would be cleansed. This twenty-three hundred day prophecy ended on Monday, October 13, 1986, on the Day of Atonement of that year.
And amazingly, 1986 was not only a Sabbatical year, but was a seventh Sabbatical year, the year just before a Jubilee, fitting exactly the precise specifications of the prophecies of Moses, including that of the Sabbath for the Feast of Trumpets and the first and eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles. The Day of Atonement came on a seventh-day Sabbath the next year, the Jubilee year, on October 3, 1987.




THIS COMMANDMENT SIGNALS THE END
OF THE TIMES OF THE GENTILES




This commandment to restore and build Jerusalem in 1980, and the Messiah's prophecy in Luke 21:24 are unmistakably linked to the end of the times of the Gentiles.
“Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” Luke 21:24.
The commandment which began a literal fulfillment of the twenty-three hundred day prophecy, also began the first seventy weeks of that prophetic period. Seventy weeks or 490 days reaches to October 29, 1981. On that day, amateur archeologist, Tom Crotser, from Winfield, Kansas, found, but did not disturb, the sacred Ark of the Covenant containing the ten commandments. Tom Crotser, led by the information in 2 Maccabees 2 searched for the Ark on Mt. Pisgah, where Moses went up to see the inheritance of God.
2 Maccabees 2:4-8
“4 It was also contained in the in the same writing (of Jeremiah) ,how the prophet (Jeremiah), being warned by God, commanded that tabernacle and the ark should accompany him, till he come forth to the mountain where Moses went up and saw the inheritance of God.
5 And when Jeremiah came thither he found a hollow cave: and he carried in thither the tabernacle and the ark and the altar of incense and so stopped the door.
6 Then some of them that followed him came up to mark the place: but they could not find it.
7 And when Jeremiah perceived it, he blamed them, saying: The place shall be unknown till God gather together the congregation of the people and receive them to mercy.
8 And then the Lord will shew these things : and the majesty of the Lord shall appear and there shall be a cloud, as it was also shewed to Moses, and he shewed it when Solomon prayed that the place might be sanctified to the great God.” 2 Maccabees 2:4-8

A DREAM GIVES ALL THE DETAILS

With his three companions, Tom camped near this peak when during the night, he was given a dream. In the dream he could see through the top of the mountain and was shown the location of the Ark of the Covenant. He woke and informed his three companions of what God had just shown him. They then all immediately went to the spot pointed out in the dream and went to work. After some difficult digging within the tombs, through several passages identified in the dream, they finally broke through into the last room and found the Ark of the Covenant just as the dream had showed. They took some pictures but did not touch or disturb anything they found.


There is quite a story behind this discovery, which many readers may wish to investigate further, as we will not relate all the details here.


The government of Jordan resealed the entrance to these tombs and posted guards to prevent any further investigation of the site. This event marks the end of the seventy weeks which were allotted to the Gentile churches. (The laodicean Church was spewed out)
“To finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness...” Daniel 9:24.






PROFOUND DEVELOPMENTS WITHIN THE GENERAL CONFERENCE
OF THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH




As the seventy weeks were ending, there were some profound developments within the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.


The Seventh-day Adventist Church had applied for their trademark from the Patent office of the United States Federal Government in Washington, D.C., which they received the week following the end of the seventy weeks.


When the Seventh-day Adventist Church Corporation applied for their Mark (trademark) from the federal government (the beast with lamb-like horns, Rev. 13:12) they were issued federal document No.1177185 on the tenth day of November, 1981. The following quotation is from this federal document:
“This is to certify that the records of the Patent and trademark Office show that an
application was filed in said office for registration of the Mark shown herein, a copy of said Mark and pertinent data from the Application being annexed hereto and made a part hereof, and there having been due compliance with the requirements of the law and with the regulations prescribed...Upon examination, it appeared that the applicant was entitled to have said Mark registered under the Trademark Act of 1946, and the said Mark has been duly registered this day in the Patent and Trademark Office on the Principal Register....I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Patent and Trademark Office to be affixed this tenth day of November, 1981.

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Following the registration of the “Mark”, the Seventh-day Adventist Church commenced litigation through the civil power now at their disposal, filing suit against an 11-member independent group, headed by Marik, in Hawaii, on April 9, 1987, as one of the first of many such cases to follow.[/FONT]
[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Corbett, Marik's twangy-voiced Texas attorney, in the Hawaian case, said:[/FONT]
[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]"This has stirred up one of the hottest ruckuses I've ever seen....It's a suite of[/FONT]
[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]tremendous import, for if the judgment is not overturned on appeal, it will[/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]There are several profound statements from Ellen G. White in regard to the judgment of the “Church”. She makes very clear that the “church” goes through to the end victoriously. Some use the words “church” and “Church” interchangeably, without understanding the difference in meaning; however, in legal terms there is a big difference between these two words, “church and Church”. See any corporate law dictionary or corporate law lawyer.[/FONT]



[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]The word “Church” indicates a legal corporation registered under the laws of the state. If this Church gives government recognized tax-deductible receipts, then it is, also, a 501(c)3 Corporation. All 501(c)3 Corporations are incorporated under “Roman Catholic Canon Law” and thereby subject to that law, make no mistake about it.[/FONT]





[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]THE JUDGMENT OF THE CHURCH[/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]saw also a professed Christian Church united to the world and the papacy. And[/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Surprisingly, 2300 literal days after the “going forth” of this commandment, the prophecy ends on a Day of Atonement in a Sabbatical year, a seventh Sabbatical year or 49th year, when the fall feast days met every specification, including the “shadowy” Sabbaths falling on seventh-day Sabbaths.[/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Is it time for the first angel's message to be repeated pointing to another 2300 days? What about the second and third angels' messages?[/FONT]


[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]On many internet forums, there is quite an extensive movement already underway among people of many different churches, calling people to leave the churches that have incorporated under the government regulations of the 501(c)3 corporations.[/FONT]






[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]A FUTURE FULFILLMENT FOR THE JUDGMENT OF THE LIVING[/FONT]



[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]In light of the following evidence, there is a future literal fulfillment of the 2300-day prophecy, yet to take place, which would, of course, begin with another commandment “to restore and build Jerusalem”. The first angel's message pointing to the time of the judgment of the living at the end of this future 2300 days, will go with power. The following statements from Ellen White describe events connected with this fulfillment at the time the judgment of the living begins.[/FONT]


“[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]The precious record of the law was placed in the ark of the testament and is still there, safely hidden from the human family. [/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman, serif]BUT IN GOD'S APPOINTED TIME [/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman, serif]HE WILL BRING FORTH THESE TABLES OF STONE to be a testimony to all the world against the disregard of His commandments and against the idolatrous worship of a counterfeit Sabbath.” 1 Bible Commentary, p. 1109, E. G. White.[/FONT]
From this statement above, we see that God has an appointed time in the future for this event to occur.



“The tables of stone are hidden by God TO BE PRODUCED IN THE GREAT
JUDGMENT DAY just as He wrote them.” Review and Herald, March 26, 1908, E. G. White.
This day, yet to come, would be the day that the first angel's message points to, as the “hour of His judgment”, the end of the 2300 literal days, a Day of Atonement in a seventh Sabbatical year.



Another statement by Ellen G. White points to this future judgment.


“When the judgment shall sit, and the books shall be opened, and every man shall
be judged according to the things written in the books,THEN THE TABLES OF
STONE, HIDDEN BY GOD UNTIL THAT DAY, WILL BE PRESENTED BEFORE
THE WORLD as the standard of righteousness. Then men and women will see that
the PREREQUISITE of their salvation is obedience to the perfect law of God. None
will find excuse for sin. By the righteous principles of that law, men will receive their
sentence of life or of death.” Review and Herald, January 28, 1909, E. G. White.
“[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]The [/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman, serif]first, second, and third angels' messages are to be repeated. The call is to be given to the church: [/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman, serif]"Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. . . . [/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. [/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman, serif]Many who went forth to meet the Bridegroom under the messages of the first and second angels, [/FONT][FONT=Times New Roman, serif]refused the third, the last testing message to be given to the world, and a similar position will be taken when the last call is made.[/FONT]” [FONT=Times New Roman, serif]RH, October 31, 1899 par. 11 and 12. [FONT=Times New Roman, serif]"The people of God everywhere are to be aroused to co-operate in the great, grand work represented by the first, second, and third angel's messages. This last warning to the inhabitants of the earth is to make men see the importance God attaches to his holy law. So plainly is the truth to be presented, that no transgressor, hearing it, shall fail to discern the importance of obedience to the Sabbath commandment." RH, March 26, 1908 par. 3[/FONT]
