O.K. 5 things you may not know about me... hmmm

1.. I met my husband and was engaged 6 weeks later.

2. I trained as hairdresser and owned a Beauty Salon.

3. My love is for the outdoors and camping in the outbacks.

4. I am a grandmother of a 20mths girl..Grace, and a four year old boy Jack.

5. I have also been a geriatric nurse.

Not interesting, but its me..

1) I am an 18 year old lazy 6th form student.
2) I'm actually pretty cynical and bitter for an 18 year old.
3) I like books, as long as they're not the ones my teachers want me to read.
4) I dance badly to music when noone's around.
5) I drink far too much tea.

Five things... let's see...

1. I've never lost a baby tooth... and yes, I am 16.
2. Many people think I'm in college and think my sister, who is in college, is in Junior High and I'm the older one...
3. My collar bone is still cartalidge... it isn't really a bone.
4. I love sitting at home in my sweats, but it doesn't happen often enough.
5. I'm currently trying to compile a book, full of various things I've written, or am currently working on. Ranges from poems to blogs. (I call it "The Deep Thoughts and Complete Randomness of Me")

1. I'm studying to be a nurse
2. I struggle with my faith at times
3. I am married (5.5 yrs) with a 3 yr old daughter
4. I love to sing especially the hymns from Mass
5. I am a convert (easter 06) and my hubby isn't religious. (makes for some interesting times)

Wow, I love reading these sort of things! I'd love it if you would let me know when you finish?

5 things about little ol' moi huh. Ok:

1) My first name is Nathalie

2) I fluently speak both English and French

3) I teach an English Intensive Program to a group of French speaking 6th graders.

4) I will be married in 20 days

5) I was born and raised Catholic, but a slightly troublesome road led me away from our Mother Church. I spent five years studying and growing with an Evangelical church, then reverted back to Catholicism this past fall

Five things... here it goes

1. I'm not a cradle Catholic.

2. I speak English and French and am also learning Russian, and Latin

3. I am a federal air security screening officer -- saving money for school.

4. I was on my way to med school and am now on my way to the Priesthood.

5. I love hockey and (NFL) football, but I can't sit through a golf or baseball game.

Well, since we can post more than 5, here's 5 more:

1) I have been co-administrator and online councelor for Faithnet Fellowship, a chatroom on Paltalk, for the past 5 years.

2) I am a member of three major worldwide organisations: Amnesty International, Foster Parents Plan (I sponsor two children: one in Hunduras and one in Egypt), and World Wildlife Fund. I am in the Canadian Divisions of all three of course

3) I am one of two organists in my parish. I take care of Saturday afternoon services.

4) I LOVE music, and play seven different musical instruments.

5) Amoung my closest friends is a small community of Franciscain brothers, whom I visit for a retreat every year.

1) I play sveral musical instruments, I'm only really "accomplished" as a drummer. I suck at everything else, especially singing. I have the worst singing voice in the history of mankind.

2) I love to drink. Water, coffee, booze, whatever is in my hand will be empty in 30 secconds. I ingest more liquids than anyone I know. It makes me fun at parties - unless you're my wife who has to put up with me after the fun is done.

3) I have 5000 or so hobbies. I focus on one like a laser until I become good at it, then I get bored, lose interest and quit it.

4) I love to read, but I almost never read fiction. History and technical manuals are my faves. Yes, I'll actually sit down and read govrenment screw thread standards and such. Big geek here.

5) I am the least patient person you ever met. I demand instant gratification and am always doing something.

6) I hate TV, unless it's a hockey game or something on PBS.

7) I could talk about me all day.

8) Hockey is my favorite sport. I love the game for the game but refuse to watch any league that has banned (or heavily punnishes) fighting. There don't have to be fights for me to enjoy the game, but I can't enjoy it without the possibility of a brawl or two.

9) I am pasionate about nearly everything I do.

10) I sunburn too easily.

11) I used to race motorcycles and smoke cigarettes but quit both for the most part when I became a dad. I miss both terribly.

12) I am happiest in a woods or near water.

13) I love almost any kind of fishing but I don't enjoy hunting.

14) I don't have any tattoos, but I'm always contemplating getting some. The reason I havn't yet is that I don't want to be the guy with a tattoo or two, I want my arms, chest and back covered or nothing at all.

15) I have one particular best friend who I've known since childhood. I know and understand him much better than my wife. I probably enjoy his company more too.

16) I enjoy anything mechanical - I like to restore old vehicles, I like to go fast, race things, etc. I loathe just about every other person who has similar interests though. I can't stand being around "Nascar people".

17) Most pop music irritates me.

18) I have a good bit of hearing loss from playing drums, motorcycles, and competetive marksmanship in my youth. It sucks.

19) I could talk about me all day.

20) I have a good job with a relatively prestigious engineering firm, but I have almost no formal education. My boss loves me, I do good work, but I would have a hard time landing another job like mine because my resume isn't very impressive.

1. I have a hearing loss too, but have never been exposed to loud music. I hear as an old person: background noise (even soft sounds are noise to me) makes it very hard/impossible for me to understand speech.

2. I'm lefthanded, leftfooted, and politically pretty left, too (at least to American standards - our largest far-right party is the liberal party, go figure ).

3. Should have been #1: I love cats. I mean I lovelovelovelovelovelovelovelovelovelove cats. I have thee of my own, and I see all cats that I meet as my own, too. I love all other animals very much too, except flies.

4. I've never kissed another man than my husband (let alone a woman), yet I didn't meet him until I was 27.

5. I don't have a driver's licence and don't plan to get one, I'm afraid of speed and I don't like cars much.

1. I get quite excited about grammar.
2. I'm obsessed with the Sims 2, and cried when I accidentally wiped an entire neighbourhood off my computer a couple of years ago.
3. I play the tin whistle.
4. A great-grandfather of mine was elected mayor of Liverpool, and was the first Catholic to be elected into such a post, but died before he could take up the job.
5. I love knitting. I'm not very good at it, but I do love it.
6. I find talking to people face-to-face, or indeed on the phone, scarier than spiders, heights, or any of the other things normal people are supposed to be afraid of.
