You stated the following categorically:
Aman:>>" In order to become a Christian one must believe that Jesus died for our sins, that He was buried and arose the 3rd Day ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES. "
Nowhere in the scripture you have quoted are these requirements specified. Which is pretty much what I expected, based upon my own somewhat limited scriptural knowledge. So can we now agree that your quoted statement above is false?
Dear Oph, Correction: YOU don't know where to find the Power of God unto Salvation, but I do. Here it is:
Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the
gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Here is the Gospel of Jesus Christ:
1 Corinthians 15
King James Version (KJV)
15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the
gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day
according to the scriptures:
Now, it's YOUR time to show us Scripture which refutes me or admit that you don't know what Scripture is teaching. Show us another way to heaven except the one above....if you can.
In Love,
Aman
