Because you’re pointing to his position as authoritative

Nope. I'm appealing to their unfailing worship of him.

I doubt it. It’s unlikely they could work his name into a briefing on food distribution enough times to hold his attention

I'm open to the possibility he is actually disturbed by what he's been told and has seen.

There are Christians who will knee jerk say those organizations are "too woke".

There are others who just xenophobic towards Muslim people (see it here on CF ALL the time...can't trust a gazan to say what's happenning to them....can't trust al Jazeera). Everyone has their own reason to support Israel bur none of them seem righteous, love or justice based.

Do they steal the food and burn it?

Does it sit in their warehouses not getting distributed?

“The Latest on the Humanitarian Aid Situation:

Israel launched daily humanitarian pauses (10 a.m.–8 p.m.) in Gaza City, Deir al‑Balah, and Al‑Mawasi, along with secured humanitarian corridors (6 a.m.–11 p.m.), coordinated with the UN, to expand aid access. One hundred twenty trucks entered Gaza on Monday during the first humanitarian pause.

  • The IDF conducted its first-ever food airdrop into Gaza—delivering essential staples like flour, sugar, and canned goods.
  • Egypt resumed trucked aid delivery through the Kerem Shalom crossing, deploying over 100 trucks loaded with more than 1,200 metric tons of food—the first such aid convoy during active fighting since May 2024.
  • Jordan and the UAE airdropped 25 tons of supplies, and the UAE, with Israeli approval, began constructing a desalination pipeline from Egypt to Gaza’s Al‑Mawasi, anticipated to serve around 600,000 residents.
  • Prime Minister Netanyahu stated: “There are secured convoys. There have been all along, but today it is official. There will be no more excuses.”
Read AJC’s statement released Sunday on the aid situation.

What’s really happening near Gaza’s aid sites?

Since Gaza Humanitarian Fund (GHF) began operations in May, international media—often citing figures from Hamas-run ministries in Gaza—have repeatedly reported large casualty numbers near its aid distribution sites. Recently, media outlets, the UN, and the Hamas-controlled Gaza Ministry of Health claimed that hundreds of Palestinians have been killed. However, many of these reports rely on unverifiable sources directly tied to Hamas. GHF Executive Director Johnnie Moore dismissed the casualty claims as part of “a disinformation campaign… meant to shut down our efforts,” accusing Hamas of “intentionally harming people for the purpose of defaming what we’re doing.”

That is not true. It is Hamas controlled censorship. The Israelis said that when they took the food right to the people instead of giving it to Hamas and trusting them to give it out, that Hamas shot at the people to scare them away and the Israelis shot into the air to warn Hamas away.

Why would the Israelis go through the trouble and risk to themselves to take food into Gaza and then shoot the people when they come to collect it? Some of these “reports” are too idiotic to believe. The truth is that when the food is delivered directly to the people, Hamas can’t steal it to sell and make money with to buy weapons.

And your link from 6 months ago means absolutely squat today.

I dont know if Hamas burns it or not. I haven't heard. We do know they steal it.
Its my understanding that Hamas sells the food they steal, that was meant to be given to the people.

“DEIR AL-BALAH, Gaza Strip (AP) — Since Israel’s offensive led to a security breakdown in Gazathat has made it nearly impossible to safely deliver food to starving Palestinians, much of the limited aid entering is being hoarded by gangs and merchants and sold at exorbitant prices.

A kilogram (2.2 pounds) of flour has run as high as $60 in recent days, a kilogram of lentils up to $35. That is beyond the means of most residents in the territory, which experts say is at risk of famine and where people are largely reliant on savings 21 months into the Israel-Hamas war.”

I bet the money goes to Hamas.

Lets assume that was true.

If Israel wants to stop the problem then they should FLOOD the markets with food to drive the prices down and limit hamas profits

Bur israel won't do that cause they are trying to kill gazan citizens.

Or maybe Hamas should not allow their gangs to sell the free food meant to feed the starving gazans.

That distinction goes to the terrorists.

It means everything since it's a reminder for you of when Israel started to block aid and food from coming into Gaza. That's the point you don't seem to grasp. Israel is the primary cause of the current situation. And whether you want to believe it or not, Israel has been using hunger as a weapon.

Nah. The Hamas terrorists attacked first and have been attacking Israel for years. Hamas finally bit more than they could chew. It amazes me that you defend a very well known terrorist organization like Hamas who has been causing grief on the gazans since 1987.

Israel only blocked the aid so Hamas couldn’t steal it any more. Israel is risking the life of its people by them taking the aid in to give it directly to the people.

Ok but they are.
Are you saying poor little Iswael can't deal with does wascally hamas?

I have proposed the solution you can't deny would work. And if this is not about a plot of Israel to exterminate (or at least) crush gazans and to undermine hamas....Israel can act on that.

But im sure deep down you also know Israel is trying to destroy gazans.

And if you would have continued further, you would have found yourself in Serbia, where you would have really noticed a difference. Serbia! The crossroads between Eastern and Weatern worlds
I thought the crossroad was Istanbul (not Constantinople).

And what is the real for not allowing Gazans to catch fish?

Iswael is dealing with wascally Hamas now.

Sowy but I missed that.

Sorry couldn’t contain myself. Lol

The Gazans themselves have never really been the problem. Hamas on the other hand has been the problem since their inception in 1987. The last big row in 2008-2014 Hamas used the Gazans as shields to maximize IDF collateral damage and increase propaganda. You can find a paper on this below. Is a pdf so can’t cut and paste. The summary on the first page has the highlights.

But im sure deep down you also know Israel is trying to destroy gazans.
Not really.

Are you saying dealing with a terrorist organization that hides among the people in an urban setting, and has hundreds of miles of tunnels, uses hospitals, schools, homes and ambulances is just wascally and as easy to deal with as a cartoon character?
I have proposed the solution you can't deny would work.
You cant prove thats possible in this situation.

I'm saying that if we believe the given, hairbrainned rationale for Israel's actions, there is in fact, a very easy solution that has rhr added bonus of being the empathetic, humanitarian response that most of rhe adanced world has been calling for.

Bur I contend that is not Israel's true motives and that their current plan is far more obvious because it's based on what is happening on the ground and is supported by some diagusting quotes from the government in power.
You cant prove thats possible in this situation.
It's the underlying premise of capitalism. More supply with no change in demand will bring down prices.

Sure we can sit and use our fanciful imaginations of paranoia of how hamas would find a way to make this awful. But those are just justifications for maintaining the status quo...not real argumens about making sure children do not starve.

Prove how it wouldn't drive down food prices if Israel began allowing the full flow of food into Gaza.
Explain how capitalism if it helps gazans is exceptional.

That would only result in Israel funding the war against itself since Hamas sells the food/aid to raise money to buy weapons and ammo.
