What surprises me here is their defense of the BREED TO EAT standpoint. You could just as easily say that the Tsavo maneaters were natural enemies of humans even though no other lion is.

How is an observation the same as a defense? My observations are that chickens are very numerous due to the chicken industry and that "natural enemies" do not do that. Where do you think the seeds come from? Where do you think the livestock comes from? Yes, raising animals is also agriculture. My genetics professor worked with farmers for the best way to breed animals. You know, for food.

Those with higher yields are saved and BREED with other high yielding plants. The BRED offspring have genes for higher yields. The cycle is repeated again and again with each growing season. This is pretty basic stuff, humans have been doing this since the dawn of civilization.
