friend requests

It looks like old friends are now merely "contacts" and you have to friend request them again. It doesn't take too long to friend request all your old friends, but when I did it I was sad to see that some of my friends didn't have a friend request box, presumably because they were banned, and others haven't responded because they're gone from CF for various reasons. The ones that made me saddest were the ones who had passed away. The change in the Friends system isn't exactly consistent with the doctrine of the communion of saints.
