Thats because we believe in God. To me that seems rational.
It's not, since you can't actually test any cause/effect with respect to the supernatural.
i mean i can see why you would say that. I at this point i'm not sure you want my explanation for why thats not true. Do you want to hear what i have to say?
Both. The number and severity of natural disasters is increasing. Is this a sign of the end or is there a natural explanation?
30 October 1991: The Halloween Monster, a.k.a. The Perfect Storm, strikes the U.S. amid the "land-for-peace" Madrid peace talks; President Bush's ocean-side home destroyed. The hurry canes were presumably linked also to who was in office (president).
Supposedly, FOR FOUR YEARS, during one administration, there were no hurricanes.
Before and after that administration, someone caused them , or not ?
Natural disasters have been happening since day one. Imagine what it was like during the many earth quakes, volcanic eruptions etc that have happened throughout the earths history?
These days, people see natural disasters as 'end times' when its just nature that is doing what nature does.
I can only imagine what people must have been thinking during times like the Black Death that wiped out half of Europe's population.
People back then had far greater reason to believe the end times were upon them than anything happening today.
Sure, you're more than welcome to explain your POV.
Can't it be both? These days, people see natural disasters as 'end times' when its just nature that is doing what nature does.
Can't it be both?
That is, God telling Mother Nature to do it?
We call that catastrophism.
Remember the Flood?

Your post contains a bunch of disconnected ideas, none of which pertain to the subject of determining cause/effect of the supernatural on the natural world. The problem of course being that the supernatural is inherently untestable in such fashion.
Climate change and fracking, as well as better worldwide reporting.
Also, that graph isn't about frequency, it's about the damages in US dollars. Since stuff is worth more today, surprise, surprise, the damages are higher, too.
yeah i wish i did better. I'm sure someone can do a better job than what i did.
Okay with you if I think God is behind some of them?God did the flood for a very good reason. I dont see the 'many' natural disasters as coming from the hand of God. I think its just ordinary 'natural' disasters. Nothing more.
Sure, you're more than welcome to explain your POV.
How can you tell which natural disasters God is responsible for and which disasters happened without His connivance?Okay with you if I think God is behind some of them?
