It's not, since you can't actually test any cause/effect with respect to the supernatural.

Attributing cause to the untestable supernatural is the definition of an irrational belief.

Natural disasters have been happening since day one. Imagine what it was like during the many earth quakes, volcanic eruptions etc that have happened throughout the earths history?

These days, people see natural disasters as 'end times' when its just nature that is doing what nature does.

I can only imagine what people must have been thinking during times like the Black Death that wiped out half of Europe's population.

People back then had far greater reason to believe the end times were upon them than anything happening today.

I can't remember if your the one who told me something about 10 dimensions. But I think you should watch the video on youtube "10 dimensions explained".

Starting with Genesis. The KJV, ESV, Ketab El Hayat (Arabic) all allow for an old earth. The arabic actually says something like this "this is a initial explanation of what happened". I believe the KJV defiinitely lines up with this. I don't know the hebrew version that well but i've been told it is similar to the KJV.

Xianghua a member of this forum has an interesting theory related to evolution. I can't give you his idea because he might be publishing a book. I also find that dna is probably a product of an intelligent designer. I'm sure you've heard of Israel's military victories in the past 70 years (1948, 1967 and i think 1971). I've experience miracles and have seen recent prophecies by prophets come true. I don't expect you to believe that. If you look up Joan of Arc in the encyclopedia it mentions miracles that happened in her life. The encyclopedia doesn't deny these miracles.

I would argue societies with out religion rely more on drugs and alcohol.

Not a great explanation but alot of my beliefs are from personal experience.

God did the flood for a very good reason. I dont see the 'many' natural disasters as coming from the hand of God. I think its just ordinary 'natural' disasters. Nothing more.

Your post contains a bunch of disconnected ideas, none of which pertain to the subject of determining cause/effect of the supernatural on the natural world. The problem of course being that the supernatural is inherently untestable in such fashion.

I wouldn't worry about it. Truth is, there is no such way to determine cause/effect regarding the supernatural and certainly not with respect to the weather.

Otherwise, the field of meteorology would be very different.

How can you tell which natural disasters God is responsible for and which disasters happened without His connivance?
