wow. that was one of the most powerful books ive ever read. it was total spellbinding and i sat there for about 3 hours straight reading the entire 500 something page book. it was amazing.

made me think a lot about sin and the mark it leaves on you. there would be A LOT of people running around flaunting there black oozing marks over their heart if that was really how sin was dealt with, even some people who are considered Christians.

I agree it was a powerful book; I read it three times, and it gave me shivers every time.

I personally prefer The Visitation though. I hated that book the first time I read it, but I loved it the second, third, and fourth time. Lol.

I've read so many of his books, but not the newest one, Monster. I loved This Present Darkness and Piercing the Darkness. Prophet was different, but I liked it a lot...a similar thing happened in my hometown a while ago. The Visitation creeped me out a lot, and I've only read it once. I loved the Oath, I stayed up late finishing it a few years ago. His book the Wounded Spirit is really sad, but really good, and nonfiction. I loved Tilly. The Cooper Kids books (The first 4 are the only ones I read) were good when I was in elementary school too.
