  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey all,
My weekend was great. Saturday involved a lot of relaxation and "chilling out", then Sunday I had church, a great family dinner and then church again. I have also been showing my mum/mom some videos from Pentecostal churches when our Pastor has preached and I think she is really liking it. Could I have some prayers that she would start to come to our church with me, please?

@KellyAnne 108! Wow! I wish we got that here. Although today has been fairly warm at.... 45.

@SC When it comes to college football I am a Nebraska fan. I'm actually wearing a Nebraska shirt right now.

I just got hired for a summer staff job at a Christian Conference Center in Oregon! I got the call today during breakfast. Its a total answer to prayer becuase I've been searching for work the last 6 months, ever since I got back from Nicaragua. God is so good!!!!!!!

You might have I had real good seat about the 30 yard line lower level. It was a touching moment when the whole stadium went silent and the players prayed in the middle of the field. I was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop.

SC that is so cool. I am so happy that you and your wife went on a ride together. I hope you both wore helmets. I am obsessive about helmets. I think its because I worked in a hospital serving patient meals as a part time job after high school

Just back from going to the United States.We just went down into Washington and stayed one night.I love going there.Got groceries at Walmart where there are many things we don`t have and JC Penny`s which we don`t have.It was nice.
One more night with my daughter.
