That's not the fault of Bible doctrine. We need to be tolerant of others regardless of their beliefs. Religious people can't grok this concept for the life of them, and I fully sympathize with you. Everything turns into a p***ing match.

I disagree. Religions that are tolerant, and do not practice tribalism, risk fading into obscurity. Fail to indoctrinate the children, and insulate them from other influences, and a religion could be gone in a generation. They are intolerant by design.

I still don't understand. So the Bible says it's foolish to disbelieve. It also says it's foolish to do a whole host of other things.

These are not all good examples of "failed religions before them", this is lazy research. First, you'd need to define "failed", and then determine why each one has done so. You'd also have to be able to make some connection from each of those to the history of the development of the Bible in order to build your case.

I have the right to defend my beliefs should someone attack them. I do NOT have the right to tell you what to believe. I believe in atheists. Not atheism. Does that clarify?

See above. Surely the Jews felt as though they had to defend THEMselves against people who would force them to denounce their God. The Bible has been the most attacked historical document throughout history. Sorry if "just sitting there and taking it" is wrong to some...

Does "They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good." and "They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one." not lean towards vilifying?

No, I simply have to look around and see what religions from the past are no longer being practiced. I can image the writers of the bible doing the same.

It is my understanding that the bible fails to qualify as a "historical document".

The unseen paradise Father delegates authority and powers in his Sons.

It's not that God the Father or Jesus were powerless to stop the Atheist rebels, it's the policy to allow the foolishness of rebellion to run its coarse. Every sin contains within it the seeds of its own destruction. Full opportunity was given to the rebel leaders and their followers to repent.

Because the Universal Father is still a matter of faith to many orders of celestial beings.

Lucifer and a host of other created beings were in a line of authority under the Son, their creator Son. Lucifer knew the Paradise Sons as literal beings, but the Universal Father was still a matter of faith.

Lucifer concocted a theory in his own bright mind that the Paradise Sons of God were foisting a fraud on behalf of a fictitious Universal Father. He came up with some of the same stuff that Atheist promote.

"There was war in heaven" an ideological war. With the time lag of justice it took a while for the matter to go to trial. The Lucifer rebellion was settled on earth while Jesus was here. Forgiveness was offered to the rebel leaders and their followers but the rebel leaders refused.

Yes, I agree, Satan never had the power to invade the will of any being, what he had was rebellious, atheist ideas that one could let in to their belief and hence influence their life. I believe Satan is gone, Christ defeated him, he is a cigar butt. However the "meme" of Satan lives on.

I personally like macaroni monster. But, I gotta tell you religion and mythos have some heavyweight contenders for "monsters" that would simply own the op with a flick of the wrist.

Zeus could zap the bull god Molech, and the flying spaghetti monster with lighting, and have a nice Italian dinner for the gods. FSM sucks lol
