Cats are feminine and graceful, dogs are friendly, loyal and masculine, lions are brave and king-like, elephants are patient and stable-minded, etc.

God gave different animals different personalities. I am wondering whether God gave different personalities to FLOWERS as well ??

I would say that people with different personalities tend to like certain types of flowers, so in a way a flower would have a personality. But since they do not have a brain, it is more of an association to a persons personality.

I also have a problem with your description of animals. I understand your use of the terms masculine and feminine but, it is not a good descriptor for an animal. It gives the wrong connotation.

Please excuse my descriptions - I just wanted to give you an idea of what I was talking about.

I didn't mean to ask whether God gave personalities to flowers in the way he did to humans or animals. My question was whether God made flowers symbols of various personalities ??

While I believe that God surely could have given the flowers descriptive attributes to which humans could individually relate... and that He may have used the phases of the moon and stars for "categorizing" basic human traits... I do think that flowers have personalities.

That's engaging anthropomorphic terms for clarification. One might better realize the idea that flowers have such individualistic attributes by studying what we call "weeds". Anyone who grows good plants, usable plants, will attest to the type of weed that grows next to it. ... one that mimics the usable plant! That implies intelligence.

It's been shown that when one plant is killed in front of another plant, the living plant "screams".... That implies intelligence and spirit, to me.

Why would God have created flowers to represent us as well? To be able to relate to each other would increase the satisfaction and beauty of his creation, imo.

Excellent... so do you think God made flowers so that they symbolize various
personalities or virtues
??

No worries, I apologize if my comment sounded like I was attacking your description, it was not my intention.

Oh, I understand your question better. I dont know, but it wouldn't surprise me if He created a flower for everyone and their personalities and moods.

Thanks for the reply.

I didn't mean one for everyone, as there are 50 billion people on earth. I mean a flower for every type of personality or virtue. For example,

Flower A symbolizes gentleness;
Flower B symbolizes patience;
Flower C symbolizes artistic personality;
etc
etc.
