  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I started watching Flashpoint a few months back.
WHen Jules got shot.
I got hooked on it, and now it has been dropped from the lineup.
Maybe someone could get the technical director up to speed(many probelms with how they deploy and clear rooms.) And bring this back with
better geek stuff.(they had a lot but didn't explain them much.)

Flashpoint was filmed in Canada, and many scenes were of Candaian cities.

Jules, was the girl that played the Pink Ranger(Power Rangers). When she was shot on the show, she went on maternity leave in real life. Interesting way to get a star off the show temporarily.

Basically a SWAT team, that isn't the traditional macho guys, showing off, or they actually have feelings when things go wrong. NO one cutting a notch in the rifle for another kill.
I think this was a good show, just needed some adjustments. But also, I think it wasn't exposed enough. I didn't notice the show, until I left the t.v. on after Ghost Whisperer. It just didn't grab your attention.
