  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey guys. Sorry to worry you Rich. For the rest of this month and most of next month on Tuesdays and Wednesdays I'll be training users on a new software product. I probably won't have much time to post those days.

Julia, we leave August 6th for our next exciting adventure. We're looking forward to it. I told David I think I look forward to that more than retiring. They are having a retirement luncheon for me sometime in July

Thank you honey for the cuppa cute and them there biddies. You know biddies don't fly, I experimented when I was a kid

Hey guys, David and I went on a mini adventure this weekend. Well, it actually started out as a ride on Saturday but we didn't get home until around 9pm on Sunday Anyway, we headed south and went across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. After getting off of that in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia we headed west. We got to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia
and spent the night near the Natural Bridge
We got up yesterday morning pretty early, ate breakfast and headed out on the Blue Ridge Parkway We were driving with the top down on the convertible and I was looking around (David was driving) and I saw one of these and I said and turned his head so he could see it too before he ran away. We continued on our journey and saw a couple of these and quite a few of these (tourists). We then went through the Shenandoah National Park along Skyline Drive
and I climbed up one of those. David took pictures but some of the shots are of my southbound end and not all that pretty Although not the Rockies, the mountains in Virginia are beautiful.
