Okay, now I have GOT to see FF:AC.
Thank you for your inspiration Jenka.
I envy you (not in a bad way) but I envy your boldness. I can't tell anyone 'No!' and I'm always afraid to tell people the truth and let them know how I really feel so I don't hurt their feelings, and sometimes I end up giving them an attitude or worse, lying.
Yeah, I remember Kingdom Hearts. I have a love-hate relationship with that game. It's great and everything, I like the story, the characters are memorable, the music score wasn't too bad (I have the theme song in both versions on my computer XD) and the voice acting was fantastic, I love Cloud's voice! I also like the Squaresoft characters' alternate costumes.
The colours were really bright and primary, I know it was directed at kids and the palette was succesful for the target market but it just felt so 'plastic' to me with all those colours, I also found the game could have been a little too difficult for kids anyway or maybe I'm just a weak little fan-girl with below-average gaming-skills, Squall layed the smack-down on me. Minnie's head was waay too big, and the part that really got on my nerves was:
After seeing the ad for the game on TV I jumped out of my seat when I saw Sephiroth so I HAD to go out and get the game, but after playing it and reading it over guess what...Sephiroth was NOT a playable character. He wasn't even part of the story-line, just an OPTIONAL boss in the Colloseum and he wasn't even IN the original Japanese game. I feel so used.
But I wonder, would the game have sold as well as it did with just the Disney Characters and Sora and company? Well either way I enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to Kingdom Hearts 2.
