• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together.   • Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I left CF awhile on an old name and was getting better, Then I comfort a few demons like being in love with a woman, my family and headaches, now it feels I got so much going on in my mind I could scream. I'm also freaking out feeling just paranoid, even with pills I just feel so mad at everyone. I live a lonely life and even though I have GOD im still lonely and I dont think ill ever be happy.

sorry if this is hard to understand my brain is just all confused.

I am alone all the time too. I know how hard that can be. Can you get involved in church? Call a church and ask for a ride there? I am getting a ride to church and it helps to see people once a week. God bless you for sharing, Tapero

Then start by coming here, lik eyou are, take each step slowly. Check online for an author named Patsy Clairmont-she suffered from agoraphobia and her world became so small she could not get out of bed. She shares openly about this now in front of crowds opf people at Women of Faith. I just saw her this last weekend.

The truth comes from God, if you are a Christian, then God says you are not a failure!!!!! As a Christian you are a daughter of the King of Kings, a true princess, whether you feel like it or not. So one baby step at a time, coming here is a good one!!! YOu will find support and understanding. Those who will share their trials and support you in yours. Yes, the confusion comes, I've been there myself. But there is a way out, let us stand beside you as you begin to reach out and let see what happens. For there is truly hope in the arms of God!!!

I also feel alone much of the time, when those feeling come I just keep reminding myself, I am not alone!!!1 I have God the HOly Spirit in me!!! I have my friends here on CF and so on. Combat the confusion and feelings and thoughts with the truth!

You're just down in the valley right now, and with a lot of prayer from your friends, you'll be up on the mountain in due time. You'll also find yourself stronger for the next battle in life and we'll help you through that one as well.
