Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I just finished watching this on the History Channel. All I can say is "Wow!"

The series basically established the Exodus tale as historic fact, linking the Biblical tale with Egyptian and Greek writings, as well as other archaeological evidence.

To top it all off they claim to have discovered images in the form of Priestly jewlery of the Arc of the Covenant.

This is a must see.

I thought the show was pretty cool as well.

The exodus event is not the only time God ever used Natural elements of the earth to do his work.

The earth has opened up and swallowed people. People have been eaten by animals, bears & dogs.

God used the natural to do his bidding many times.

We just forget that. We think acts of God have to be supernatural feets. Not true. I think many of the events in the last few years have been by the providential hand of God. Even though it would be very politically incorrect to say so.

I've always said that the history written in the books (all history) is not necesarily the real history.

I saw it this weekend and, I must say, much of the evidence is very compelling. I was more interested in the archeological discoveries than the explination of the plagues. The only ones that didn't convince me were the deaths of the first borns and the cloud by day/fire by night.

There was another documentary about this on Discovery called Moses and Exodus. It was basically the same as Decoded except for a few different things.

First they say that water could have actually turned to blood because of a genetic mutation in the fish, based on a similar event in a river somewhere in the US that had the exact same thing happen. The fish dying paved the way for the frogs and flies etc.

Everything else they say was from the cause of the Santorini volcano just like in Decoded, with a tsunami-like phenomenon causing the waters to split.

But they didn't have an explanation for the killingh of the firstborn like in decoded.



What ppl need to realize is this: God created the world and everything in it. He can manipulate His creation to do whatever He pleases, without doing all these supernatural magic-like stuff that many ppl expect.
In the Exodus situation, He could have set off the volcano at the perfect time to set everything in motion, He also could have stopped the chain reaction of plagues had the Pharaoh not been so stubborn.

The evedince for the exodus can be found in Saudi Arabia at Jabel EL Lawz, including artifacts, the stone alter related to the golden calf, stone corral's, the natural path through the mountains leading to a beach by the red sea where below the water is a natural land bridge littered with coral encrusted chariot parts, stone pillar's on either side, one that still has ancient Hebrew writing with king solomons name on it, there is a massive bolder that is split in half, that shows erosion at its base from millions of gallons of water pouring out of it, and it sits by its self up on top of a pile of bolders, the tallest moutain in the area looks as though a clouds shadow is on it, but there is no cloud, the black color is caused by the fact that the granite that the moutain is made of, it's surface has been under intense heat and is glazed black, and this is not volcanic in nature. Why dosent the history channel do a documentary on this ??

You must have read the book The Gold of Exodus, as most of what you have said comes from this book. The 2 people in this book are the ones who discovered the land bridge, the 12 pillers, etc.
