For anyone who's interested in how they linked archeological finds with the biblical account of Exodus and the plagues sent on Egypt it's definitely a programme to watch. There was one thing I wasn't sure about though and that was their scientific explanation for how Moses led the Israelites across the Red Sea (actually they said it should be Sea of Reeds). I had pictured the Israelites crossing over with walls of water either side of them but their account talked of raised ridges of land caused by moving plates under the water. Very interesting though.

I heard that a lot of the scholars they interviewed for this doc had some major problems with they way their responses and views were edited and stuff (Biblical Archaeology Review had an article on it). Basically, they made it look like a lot of the scholars agreed with the views presented in the doc when they really didn't. But it is an interesting hypothesis nontheless.
