depends what you mean by generous. yes, God will bless those who give (not necessarily money, but of themselves) out of a true heart of love to Him & to others, & not of selfish & individualistic motives. that blessing won't necessarily be financial, but He will bless them.
those who give for selfish reasons, no, i don't think that God will bless them. they may appear to be blessed in this life, but they do not have the true blessing in life eternal.
