It is good that Christians LOVE Jesus Christ the Savior and they can show that LOVE be keeping the commandments of LOVE. According to the Bible and Jesus Christ that is the way Christians show their LOVE for Him:Some people don't realize how much LOVE true Christians have for the true Savior Who died to save many.
Romans 5
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
IOW... when one leaves mormonism...Excommunication is only a blessing when it encourages people to turn away from the path to destruction and repent and chose to the path of LOVE.
And then repents and returns to The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints with a sincere desire to change and obey God and keep His commandments:IOW... when one leaves mormonism...
Why would it be a blessing for someone to be excommunicated so they "turn away from the path to destruction and repent and chose to the path of LOVE." and then return to that same path of destruction known as the mormon religion? The Bible warns about such things. And then repents and returns to The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints with a sincere desire to change and obey God and keep His commandments:
(New Testament | John 5:14)
14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
Yes it is folly for a person to return to sin after they know the way of righteousness:Why would it be a blessing for someone to be excommunicated so they "turn away from the path to destruction and repent and chose to the path of LOVE." and then return to that same path of destruction known as the mormon religion? The Bible warns about such things.
"Like a dog that returns to his vomit is a fool who repeats his folly." Proverbs 26:11

Jesus Christ taught that we should keep the commandments.God showed me His path to eternal life -- JESUS.
Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
I won't go back to those dark teachings:
"This Church is the ensign on the mountain spoken of by the Old Testament prophets. It is the way, the truth, and the life. "
Marion G. Romney, Conference Report, April, 1961, p. 119
Therefore it was made clearly manifest that salvation is in the Church, and of the Church, and is obtained only through the Church.
Mark E. Petersen, Salvation Comes through the Church, Ensign, July 1973
Only God can open our eyes!
It is a sin to follow false prophets and fairy tale doctrine. Your leaders even admit they follow a different Jesus. Some day maybe you will see the light. The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints is not the way to destruction, sin is:
That we follow a different Jesus is a matter of semantics. There is only 1 Jesus and his nature and his history will only be known when he comes the second time. So at this point nobody knows the exact answer to all those questions. It is a sin to follow false prophets and fairy tale doctrine. Your leaders even admit they follow a different Jesus. It is important to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and our brother. It is also important that we walk as He walked. It is a sin to follow false prophets and fairy tale doctrine. Your leaders even admit they follow a different Jesus. Some day maybe you will see the light.

Jesus has promised to save everyone who keeps the commandments:Yes---there is only one Jesus---you do not follow that Jesus but one out of the mind of JS---your Jesus can not save. Only the true Jesus of the bible can. He created from nothing, He always existed with the Father, He was God before He became human and He became human not to perfect His Godhood, but to save us., He had no mother. Time will tell, by then it will be too late your you. Your Jesus can not save you.
If becoming human was not to perfect His Godhood, why did Jesus retain his body of flesh and bone and spirit? You can only get a body of flesh and bone and spirit if you are born on earth.Yes---there is only one Jesus---you do not follow that Jesus but one out of the mind of JS---your Jesus can not save. So there was more to Jesus than being born to save us. He was born also to receive a body of flesh and bone and spirit, otherwise he could not be perfect. And if you are not perfect in all things, you cannot be God.
In Revelation 3:21 Jesus tells us that he had to overcome this world in order to sit with his Father on His throne. If Jesus had to overcome something in this world, then when he came to this world he was not fully perfected, right?
Not sure what you mean that Jesus did not have a mother, was Mary his aunt?
Friend, you are so patient and kind. I urge you to check out true Early Christian History. The Eucharist, the role of Mary, the Liturgy, Sub Tuum Praesidium, the Incarnation, the Communion of Saints, the Sacraments, the role of Bishops and their lines of succession, and early church buildings. God bless you, friend. And then repents and returns to The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints with a sincere desire to change and obey God and keep His commandments:

It really isn't. It is a matter of assent to or dissent from the historically-rooted, apostolic preaching of Christ, Who was and always will be God, Who was born of the Theotokos (the Virgin Mary), lived, preached, and at the appointed time of His own will was crucified and died upon the cross, and three days later rose from the dead, and by defeating death by His glorious and mysterious resurrection, has given us hope in the resurrection that we will be raised, to judgment and (God willing) ever-lasting life.
Mormonism disagrees with several major theological statements that form the bedrock of Christian belief (namely, the Holy Trinity), so to the extent that you will probably say or think "we believe all those things, too!", we have to ask and find out exactly Who you believe them about. That the Mormon Jesus and the Christian Jesus are not the same is admitted by your own leaders in their speeches and writings (I believe it was in one of Gordon B. Hinckley's interviews where he said as much about "the traditional Christ" of Christians, that this is not the Christ of the Christians), so there's no use in denying it -- or if you do, you should stop being Mormon immediately.
That is wrong. He told us Who and what He is many times ("I and the Father are one", "I lay it down and take it up again; no one takes it from me", etc.), and the Holy Spirit guided His apostles, our holy fathers in the faith, to all truth -- not just some. To claim that there is more that we are to know is both gnosticism and a slap in the face to every Christian who ever lived, including those same apostles who personally knew Jesus Christ, and to St. Paul to whom He appeared.
No, time won't tell. It's already been told. We've already been told to reject another gospel (another teaching); it's just that JS didn't listen, so you don't either.
You follow JS and his conception of Jesus, which is incredibly heretical to every Christian who does not believe that God hit the reset button on belief in Him in 1820 or whatever. And that's basically everybody who isn't a restorationist (i.e., all Christians).
I love church history, and I have been a student of our history for many years. One of the things that was interesting to me about church history, is the apostles went out and formed churches all over the Mediterranean area. As they organized a church they called, and ordained elders, and from those elders they eventually chose one of them to be the bishop of that church.Friend, you are so patient and kind.
