Any out there anxious to get your hands on a new handheld device? If so, which next gen handheld would you choose and why?

I'd personally go for the Nintendo DS because it's coming out sooner than the PSP and right now it's gonna have a good selection of games coming out. I'm personally interested in Super Mario 64 and WarioWare.

What's your opinion?

I'm more interested in the DS. I got a gamecube instead of a PS2, too. I have found that Nintendo seems more likely to have games that I actually enjoy, as opposed to big name games I don't care about. Also, Sony is much more hostile to consumers.

The only problem with DS, is that I read on Yahoo that when it comes out in the US, the starting price is at least $150.

Now I'd never be able to afford something that costs that much, although I do agree with Seebs. DS will probably have a much more big selection of games you might like than a PSP. Plus the DS comes out in about two weeks I believe.

I don't think that I'll bother with either. I guess that if I were to buy one, it would be the PSP. I really can't see me wanting either of them. I don't like the silly little screens. I'd rather play videogames on my PS2, X-Box or compie. When I'm on a plane, I have a laptop to fool around with. I do have a GBA, but I almost never use it. My friends fool around with it more than I do.

I guess that if I was a parent, I'd buy me kids a DS. Mario and Zelda!
