Nope. Dark Moor completely blows them out of the water, and they dont touch with their guitars at all.

Dragonforce has their moments but can get obnixiously cheesy and repetive. If you are in the mood it can be some fun music, though.

nah they are a fun band to listen to...very uplifting musc, and if you've grown up with them, they're even better...

They're average, and that's being fairly generous. I have one of their CDs, and their songs all seem to run together after a while. Maybe I picked the wrong CD one to start out with.

A complete one-trick pony where all their albums are the same. Nonetheless, they are a pretty good one trick pony and are fun to listen too when you are driving down the highway. Just not my thing.

Aw pleas guys...they're not the "coolest" band in the world, but they're good at what they do, making powerful & uplifting power metal. End of story.

Don't hate on 'em just cause they sound mainstream.

They used to be not-so-good live but they've improved
alot of their songs sound the same, but I like 'em

They're ok... you only need to get like one album and ya don't need to get anymore after that though.

There are PLENTY of fun bands that are much better than DragonForce though so even if they are fun, I don't listen to em much. Stuff like Alestorm or Lordi... neither take themselves very seriously and at least they know they are just a fun band and cheesy ones at that. DragonForce always seemed like they took themselves too seriously.

Personally I find them a bit repetitive, but ttfatf is a great song to play on GH. Saw some dude in my squadron playing it on expert with a parka covering half of the TV so he couldn't even see the notes coming. Insaneness.

They play decent live performances. They generally only play bad live when they are all drunk. I enjoy their unique style, but their songs do seem to overlap at times.
