Lord willing I will be 61 years old next week and guidelines or no guidelines what he's already done feels VERY disrespectful to me. As a person who has had medical professionals in my life since a month after my 21st birthday, I'm more than familiar with medical guidelines/standards and that they do change. That's not the issue for me. I can truly say not only have I never had a Primary Care Physician do what he did but I don't want a relationship with any medical professional who uses coercion especially as I age. I feel a good doctor would not use coercion...period.

In thinking this over and praying about this, I do feel that it would be in my best interest to go ahead and get a new Primary Care Physician. Someone who respects me and considers my needs at my age. Who also knows how to effectively communicate. I will be contacting my insurance to help me in this process. I do think that's the best way for me to go.
