I think that satan misused the truth that knowing good and evil would make them have understanding closer to what God was privy to than they had in a state of innocence. In the image of God made them vessels to God. Choosing to know more than God was willing for them made them vessels to satan. At this point in time vessels is ALL we are, Christians being one step higher on the food chain than those who are still dust (the food of the crawling beast) but also subject to that which we give obience to from one moment to the next.

I don't know ask him... lol. Know I will explain it some. First let me address your second part. It is true that Jesus was the only begotten son of God(John 3:16). However, when that statement was said it was addressing the physical birth of Jesus, not a spiritual birth. Jesus was and has always been. In eternity He was known as the Word. Therefore that statement does not apply to human spirits. Further, Jesus is no longer called the only begotten Son of God. After the death, burial, and resurrection, He has and is known as the Firstborn Son God. That means there are other sons, He's just the first.

Now study this out and you'll see this in regards to your question: It was not enough for the human spirit to just be adopted back by God. The human spirit after the fall of man died; not in the since that it ceased to exist, but that spiritual death was lodged into it and that nature of Satan lived in it. Legally they had a right to be in God's presence through adoption, However, the human spirit had to be recreated through being born again so that spiritual death, that nature of Satan, was no longer existant in them. Also the Holy Spirit could now indwell the human spirit.

This is alsome because not only are we legally children of God, but in spiritual class and substance we are children of God. Remember every seed produces after its kind. That is physical and spiritual law that God created. Oranges produce oranges. Dogs produce dogs. Humans produce humans. God must then, if he gives birth to something, produce after Him. You cannot be the child of something and not be in it's class. That is impossible. I will prove it: Do you remember one of the accusations the religious people had against Jesus? Jesus said He was God's Son. The people understood that if He was, then He had to be in God's class. They said, "He's making Himself equal with God." It was and is common sence that if you are the child of something, than you are the same thing as the thing that gave birth to it.

Why don't you think you have God's DNA? Don't say I don't, I'm born again. I don't know if you are, but I am. So don't say I don't have it. What does that mean? That means I have His Spiritual genetic makeup in my human spirit. The scriptures say, "that I was born again, not of corruptable seed, but incorruptable, by the Word of God which lives and abides forever." There is the scripture you asked for. It is a spiritual truth, that I was born of God's Word. God and His Word are one. It also calls that Word seed. That word translated seed is spermos. So this scriptures says I was born of God's spiritual sperm. If I was born of His sperm, then what is in Him, is in me. I have God's faith in me, His love in me, and eternal life, which is the zoe' God kind of life in me." The fruit of the spirit is God's nature in us. So Tallen, I do have His DNA.

Tallen, I am a god. You are only using the word God in one sence. The Word God doen't just mean the Creator. God is just a word with german decent. The word god also means someone is authority. It can mean a judge. I am not God, but a god. God is self existant. I never made that statement. He is the Creator of all things. I never did that. However, I am in His class. He put me there. I'm not exhalting myself. He exhalted me! Paul said, let this mind be in you which was in Christ, who thought it not robbery to be equal with God. God put the church on His level. We are His body. Everything I have I got from God. Again, you assume that being in God's class of being means you can operate outside of God; therefore because we cannot, then we are not gods. That however is just assumtion on your part and not a standard that has to be upheld.

Maybe he was a Greek god. You know, like Zeus (who had sex with his own granddaughter and produced - HERCULES) or may be he was Mars, the Greek god of war - too many battles put him in bad shape and Greek gods of war never brush their teeth

I want to ask a question of the critics here, but before I do, I want to put it on record that I personally don't get up in the morning, look in the mirror, and say, "I am a lil' g-o-d." Confessing that I am a "god" is not a part of my spirituality and I do not find it necessary for a life of victory (just like I don't find the JDS teaching to be a necessary component for a life of victory in Christ).

However, I do recognize that I am a "son of God" (small "s") while Jesus is the Son of God (big "S"). Both words are from the Greek word "teknos." Do you heretic investigators recognize that such a teaching is Scriptural? Do you acknowledge this? Do you even believe in a literal new birth where a person has been made a new creation?

Furthermore, in your catalogue of who you define as heretics (based on your man-made criteria), have you added the Church Fathers and Reformers such as Martin Luther to it? I showed you in several posts that they taught theosis - no different than what some WoF teachers teach? So are they in your catalogue of heretics? If not then why not? And if you claim that what they mean is different than the WoF then please explain the difference and provide some FACTS!!! If you believe that Luther and the Church Fathers are just as wrong then please explain to me why you are NOT on the Reformed forums and Orthodox forums castigating the followers of these various denominations and theologies.

Which leads to another series of questions? Do you consider the Greek Orthodox church to be heretics? They certainly have a version of theosis. Do you consider Protestants heretic even though they deny theosis but still follow the reformation ideas of Martin Luther? After all, I don't call myself a "god" but I still adhere to most of the Biblical teachings that have been promoted by major WoF teachers. So please explain to me why the utter HYPOCRISY? Do you believe that God commends you for your hypocrisy? Do you believe that by castigating WoFers that you are doing a service for the Lord? Is there any good reason I should actually listen to and respect your criticism of the Faith Movement when you fail to even engage the Scriptures and you demonstrate such utter bias in your heresy crusades?

Look forward to any reasonable answer but I primarily look forward to some of your (hypo)critics surprising me by humbling your selves and admit that I have told you the truth about yourselves.

Tallen, God has DNA. How do I know this? Because we are in His image and likeness. However, when I used DNA, I used it as symbolism to help you get a picture of what happens to the human spirit that is born of Him.

You are correct that the seed is the Word. However you completely ignore that it is sperm. In fact you just about denied it. Yet the scripture says it is sperm. Seed means sperm period. Your ignorance tells me that you don't believe in a literal new birth. You must not believe we are literally children of God.

Yes the church is under God's authority, but we are still in His class. Read Ephesians Chapter 1. It says we are seated in the same place as Jesus. We are on the right hand of God above all principality and power. When we are judged, it will not be the same as the world. In fact, study, we will judge the world and angels with God.

My teachings are not twisted. You believe traditional teaching that has been passed down from people who don't know the Word of God. Notice that you give no scripture for what your saying. You also don't take the Word literally. Those who taught you, did that same thing and passed it to you. Your teaching defies logic and is unscriptual. Example, again how can someone be born of something, but yet not be in it's class. Every seed produces after it's own kind. To deny this, is to deny sensible logic. You deny this truth simply because you were taught that no one is like God or can be like Him.

Read my posts. I am talking about the salvation of the human spirit. Your revealing something to me... you don't really have much revelation on the human spirit, the real you. Well salvation of the human spirit is instant. The salvation of the soul (mind, will, and emotions) is a process. The salvation of you body will be instant. Which are true in many respects. However the is a legal side of salvation and a vital side. The vital side is the part the Holy Spirit does to you and in you.

I'm wondering how it's possible to have God's DNA while in the unressurected body. My hope & faith is in the promise of the fulfillment of that yet unseen. Born again is spiritual only at this point with the option of mind renewal. Spiritual bodies are eternal, but it remains to be seen where I spend eternity. My faith gives me hope. Those who remain in Him will be caught up with Him.
