Does Calvin give a definition of a Saint?

Faith in Christ.
Only until the ressurection, surely? For what about in the afterlife? Will we need faith to see our Lord face to face?

Matt 7:15-20
15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

John 17:21
21That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

Of course we shall continue to rely in Christ for eternity future. Why would we depart from God once being redeemed by His Blood?
While I readily admit that to rely on Him is an act of faith, I do so only in the knowledge that we do so here and now, on this earth, in this life, no?

For really, when we shall see Him as He truly is, EG; Loving Father, shall we be able to harbour doubt any longer?

To know, is the logical next step up from faith, no?

"Belief about/that [a fact]" is not the same as "faith in/on/into [a person]"
Thats my point!

If we believe God because we know Him, rather than simply believe His Word, isn't faith then obsolete?

1 Cor 13:9-10
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

Are there any qualities, attributes or experiences which identify us as Saints?

Thanks.
Are there any teachings of Calvin on Sainthood?
I would be especially interested to study his teachings on how one becomes a 'Saint'. (yea, yea of 'God', surely, but anything in his own hand?)

Anything at all?

In Calvinism both are needed, but one is critical. In other words there is no reliance entirely emptied of knowledge; but knowledge on its own does not save. It takes the knowledge of Who Christ is, but it also takes reliance on Him in a relationship.
