no hal lindsey didn't say armageddon would happen in the 80s he said it could very well happen in the 80s or early 90s, he didn't say it definitely would happen , very well could happen is a far cry from saying it will for certain happen at such and such timeSo a televangelist (who thus needs to say things in order to stay on the air), and a guy who thought the Cold War would last forever, Christians would no longer be on the Earth in 2000, Armageddon would happen in the 80s, the EU was symbolic because it had ten members (it actually has 27). Just because people are on TV, doesn't mean their trustworthy, it actually means they probably say the most outrageous things because that earns money. I wouldn't even be surprised if televangelists didn't believe what they preached. There's a reason I don't watch the news, everything on TV is sensationalized. There's reasons why shows like Ancient Aliens get more views on the history than a factual documentary on Ancient Egypt or Sumer.

he don't really make prophecy , he just forth tells, there is a difference between forth telling, and telling forth , he just says what he thinks could happen, but he doesn't say that's the way it is it's definitely going to happen like that , most of what he says is in the bibleThat's not the point. The point is that his "prophecy" has been wrong several times.

hal lindsey is not nostradamas , big differenceLook at people who believe the stuff that nostradamus said. All he did was make vague statements about the future. He had no prophecy or anything. Its like me saying "I predict that in the middle of the yearly cycle, it will be warm in a spot and damage will be done!" Ohhhhhh spooky. ^.^

Christianity is not blind faith without evidence but its faith based on sufficient evidence.
Many former atheists have said they have been to hell and that it is a real place and where instantly converted into believers when they experienced this. You can find their testimonies on youtube and they all corroborate one another. Also some Christians have been to hell.
Bill Wiese has the best testimony I've heard on hell.

As a Christian, I find afterlife stories to be BS. You can be medically dead, but not brain dead and vice versa. They're classified as "near-death" not "post-death" experiences for a reason
I read his book, and honestly, there's no evidence beyond his word that it isn't a dream. People have dreams where they leave their bodies all the time, people dream about what they think about. I remember when I was seriously questioning my opinions on Heaven and Hell, I also remember dreaming Jesus gave me an aerial tour of Hell and a glimpse into Heaven, and the Hell in my dream looked a lot difference between his and mine. Not to mention the whole lack of scriptural support some of his claims (even how many verses reference Hell, it's about a 10th as much as he thinks). At most or best, it's a intense and vivid nightmare misinterpreted, at worst, it's a deliberate scam.
